[SPOILERS] Welcome to the Kuro Corporation! (Kuro and BaII)

I thought Monuments costed 50 Shields smoke but yes I know your worries, about other people researching CoL, and that is understandable, however since Maintenance Costs are still really low (I thought they would be higher) I believe that many other people would not be going for CoL until later because they would need the Courthouses later, although Theology might be the better option if it is cheaper.

Code of Laws is 562 beakers. Theology is 805 Beakers. So we can assure that Theology is a good deal more expensive.

Our current city maintanence is 9 GPT. Civic upkeep accounts for 3 GPT of our -12 GPT.

I don't believe that many people would be trying to get CoL for the Courthouses, considering the highest city maintenance is like 2.5 gold, and Courthouses are not cheap, so I see no reason why anyone would be wanting to get Courthouses right now, so hopefully no one is gunning for CoL, and we could potentially snag the religion from it.

I think that seems about right, given how low our costs are. Most people are probably going for Currency first.

The tech path will be set for Animal Husbandry -> Priesthood -> Writing -> Code of Laws -> Monarchy, then.

We return from your regularly scheduled commercial break. For once, the game was NOT held up by me, which is nice! (Though I've been better about playing this time around, I think...)

We've got ourselves the first Axe and the second coming onto the Galley soon. Then, to barbtown!

Aside from that, there is basically nothing going on, aside from the oddity of WilliamLP's 0% science tech choice being Iron Working: They have copper connected (Along w/ horses), so whats the point of iron? They're Arabia, so their Knights don't need iron. Swords aren't really that great when your enemy has time and copper. Pikes aren't for forever. I just don't see much of a point to Iron Working this early.

Not really anything going on this turn.

Top 5 cities shows BoldXenuBrick has Stonehenge, BTW. No surprise, Ind/Cha after all.

So, me and my friend have been watching some Doctor Who, and since he brb'd I'm playing this after Silence in the Library but before Forest of the Dead. Even knowing what happens due to spoiling myself of everything ever aaaaaaaaaaa.

Sam Walton's axe is done, both are on the Galley, 6T until the Axes land. We might just be fast enough!

C. Vanderbilt's Work Boat is done due to the chop: next is a Granary (I don't think we had anything else to build, do we?). Sam Walton's Worker finishes at EOT. AH comes in at EOT. David Buick doublewhipped the Lighthouse and will overflow 30 hammers into a Granary. In addition, John Dodge will grow next turn.

I hear you'll have no internet from the 11th to the 22nd, BaII. I send you all of my hugs: Your input has been very helpful so far, so it'll be too bad to see you gone for so long. Good thing you helped iron out that tech path with me, eh?

Demographics. Wetbandit is playing his turn, so I should have another report pretty soon.

With AH in, we see our only free Horsies are way over here, by the barb city. We might need to keep marching Axes here until we can take it even w/ Archers. When we do take it, I want to use it as a Settler pump to the best of our ability: We've got a good 4 cities over there we can make. Code of Laws will be helpful if we can get the Forbidden Palace in it for massively discounted costs.

John Dodge shall 1-pop whip it's Granary for enhanced growth, with a chop going into a Monument to get the Wheat into play. After that, it will be a Lighthouse until it hits 4-pop, then an Axe defender 2-pop whipped into...well, we'll see what we have at that point. Vanderbilt's Worker gets to work on the cows, while Sam Walton puts the overflow into a Monument: Still not sure what to DO there, though. 2-pop whip a Settler? 2-pop whip an Axe defender, overflow + chop into a Settler? Slowbuild a Settler with a chop, even? Will be much clearer with Writing to get a Library in there.

Dunno what to do with David Buick after the 1T overflowed Granary finishes, but it'll probably just put shields into a Monument and wait to 2-pop whip an Axe for production + new city defender.

Demographics. Our food is basically rival average (Since I just whipped off 4 food to get John Dodge's Granary out).

What's the status on Sam Walton's whip penalty? If it has no whip penalty then I think 2 pop whip for a settler would do.
I think just slow build some axemen for David Buck would be best though since we don't again anything new from expanded borders.
Also think the reason why they would go for Iron Working is because of Jungle inside their territory, i'm guessing 3 cities can be founded under the jungle right now.

I should be able to get cellular reception though, so I think should be able to check up with this game.

Ah, jungle choked, that could very well be true. Didn't think to consider their land could be so Jungle-y...

I'll point out Sam Walton's whip penalty when I get on.

Sam Walton has a single turn of whip anger left. I'll go into the Settler: Overflow will go into the Monument. I'll move the Warrior in David Buick to cover the new city spot (It'll 2-pop whip a Spear/Axe and overflow into whatever since we don't have the ability to grow it up high yet...)

I'm not quite sure where to settle here, but I am thinking the Crab City, due to the fact that the forest can be chopped for a Work Boat and therefor it will start MUCH faster. Also thinking maybe it should be Horace Dodge, since it is so much closer to John Dodge...

However, ANOTHER possible option is...

Build/Whip Galley (Possibly, at the capital, via 2-pop Axe whip into Galley for defense) and settle over here! We can get a city much better than what we usually get, after all: 4 Grassland, Clams, Sheep, Lake and a Plains Hill to help with production a little. WilliamLP can only get to it via boat to my knowledge, but the issue would still be a bit low of defense...do you think it is worth the defensive risk, BaII? I think it might just be.

(Also just thought: David Buick should actually overflow into a Work Boat to scout out stuff for us!)

I've also modified the tile yields in Standard Oil to complete the Granary at an optimal time (When the food box is half full or thereabouts is the optimal time, yeah?) while letting us run off some of the whip anger clock. The two Workers in John Dodge are chopping the forest for a Monument there to get the Wheat: I think that, when they are done, I'm going to use them to road it up between John Dodge, Standard Oil and David Buick (It'd only take about 3T) and, if we go with founding Crab City, I'll want to road there too since it is a bit far from our more established city.

I haven't done Graphs in a while. Lets do Graphs.

His power seems to have leveled off and become steady. I don't think we have to worry about an invasion for the moment.
