BTW I didn't tell you but I scrolled out and looked at culture and that copper city looks like second ring and there's another city to the west. a few tiles. I'm thinking maybe we go SW get vision on city tile and then head back to our borders. He's got copper hooked up and given how he's acted I wouldn't be surprised if he saw the warrior and got an axe coming at us. We might not even want to send the warrior SW. Maybe we just retreat. The warrior is valuable cheap MP.

Turn rolled so I took a peek.
Barbs in the west means we need to move the chariot back to that forest so it can intercept the barb if it moves towards the worker.
Barb in the east means we need to overflow into that chariot.
I did move the worker off the sheep into Cock, we can move it to the deer next turn and finish the deer camp.
Question... Next turn the Eastern barb moves onto the Forest hill. We whip the worker. Next worker completes and we have enough overflow for chariot to finish in 1t. Barb moves to forest 1E of Cock. At the end of turn does the barb attack Cock and take the city before or after production in Cock completes the chariot??
-Though if the barb in the west attacks El Dorado and loses, we'll be free to send the healthy warrior back to cock in time.
We need to wait for dtay to move our warrior along his border. Though I guess if we moved away from his borders then we could play before him. So if we want to move back NW and then move to the hill to get some scouting on his other city culture in the west we could do that. If we want to go SW first and get vision on his city tile we need to wait until he plays.

Additionally if we're feeling lucky maybe we win the battle at El Dorado, we send the warrior back to cock and we overflow the granary instead of the chariot because we have the warrior there (playing with fire maybe).

Barbs move at the beggining of a turn, production gets factored in the end of the turn. Ergo, you'll have a chariot to lose in a 99,9% battle.
I'd guess the barb move to the sheep to pillage it, not the forest.

Hmm, is that warrior meant to be me, mocking you, or is he named after the virtue of Mardoc-mocking?

I named units after lurkers who had posted. You are mocking those who do not post here. Please live up to this moniker, as I will not be logging into the game to name units again.
Also, Ichabod the Troll is alive and well!

Don't be so hasty - you haven't even asked Gaspar if he would rather attract lurker comments or win the game. He might be happy to trade the occasional misclick for enhanced views and comments.

It's not Gaspar I'm worried about. He's calm and measured by comparison at times... Also, it isn't the occasional misclick. Right now I'm batting 1.000 on screwup opportunities.

Yeah, most likely correct vis-a-vis the sheep. And I hate you Ichabod.

I support any future logins to involve deselecting units, yes, but Mardoc's right - in this case the loss is small potatoes compared to increases posts and pageviews.

Uh... clearly you haven't been lurking me long enough. Lewwyn's probably a slightly looser cannon than me, but I'm far more likely to go on an epic tirade. I didn't have Martin Keown screaming in van Nistelrooy's face as an avatar for ages for nothing.
I've got some dirt on my shoulder, can you brush it off for me?
