Hope all turns out well, Q!

Just got my kids down and see the save (7:30 timestamp); will play and send shortly.

Thanks guys.

I can probably play on data for the next few hours. No promises, though.

Send 20mins ago, but don't bother if there's more important stuff happening.

Played and sent. Don't worry, just bussing atm. Can probably fit in another turn, if people are still online.

Q, per your posts and PM (which I couldn't reply to because apparently I'm on your ignore list?)

Still haven't received the save back yet (it's apparently with Kragroth if you passed it on)- so I don't think I'm going to be able to do a 2nd turn tonight...

Thanks for trying, anyways.

Hey Northstar, thanks for the save last night but it was really too late for me to play (and my sleep has suffered because I didn't listen to myself about it).

If you think that's appropriate to have as your standard level of play, rather than a temporary state that passes, well, we're going to have some problems.

As a general comment, I agree with Q here that the standard commitment going into a game is 1t/day which we had fine at first but then got gradually slower and slower. I don't really want to force a partner on you, but I do want to keep the game moving to maintain everyone's interest.

However, I will be travelling Thursday and Friday, after which I will be in the UK on a 6hr earlier time zone and with no guarantee that I can play each day (this game will be my #1 priority when I can play though). For the following 3weeks, I think we can assume a maximum of 1t every 2days and probably less. Sorry for that, but sometimes you have to take a holiday, right? For that reason, I think we should wait until I'm back and see if things settle back down into a good routine then.

I agree that 1 turn every two days is definitely not what people signed up for and what I strive to aim for... My point was only that Kragroth seemed to set this as a kind of minimum standard to not be stuck with a partner, and I *did* meet this standard despite his thinking otherwise...

I'm about to start a new job, so we'll see what my schedule turns into with that... I might have to stop going to PT (at 6 AM) in the mornings, for instance, because I might not have enough time to get from PT to work on time otherwise... In that case, my play window should become a bit longer (as I'll be able to stay up a bit later), and chances are I'll be able to manage much more regular turnarounds...

Speaking of which, where's the save? I sent it late last night, and it's 9:30 here (past everyone else's play-window, and my own- I really should be getting to sleep soon for PT tomorrow) and I still haven't received it...

Couldn't make the play window last night. Have a job orientation shortly today- but depending on when that ends, may be able to squeeze in a turn before the normal play windows this afternoon...

Well it's not like there's anything actually going on in the game right now... crazyeye

(For avoidance of doubt, that comment is totally tongue in cheek)
