Ah the nice chaos of not knowing who is who. I would like those manipulating roles to claim their action in following order. 1 Robber 2 witch 3 troublemaker.

You're sadly mistaken Omar, we can even be three wolves and a tanner, with only 3 townies. Or 6 townies and a tanner, but I guess we started with atleast one wolf, probably two. To make it even better, three of the townies can scramble the roles of others.

Looks like I'll be the townie to get this started and claim that I'm a troublemaker. That's right, two of you lucky guys aren't even what you think you are, but I'm not saying whom.. Atleast for now. (That is, unless the witch or robber took my role!)

Ok, so I robbed Rowain. He was a Mason so he should know if there is another Mason in the game or in the reserve. Have you switched either of us Tarkeel?

How about the following way for breaking the knot. I think everyone takes an equal risk with it so it's a good way to progress.

The role swappers are goodies but they'd be cautious on the off chance that they got swapped themselves to a baddie. So let's try to make it easy for them to start talking. We can do a semi-hypothetical claim of who you'd have targeted if you were a role swapper. For example if I was the troublemaker I would have swapped Serdoa and Cyneheard. If robber/witch then Serdoa.

Here all villagers have an incentive to be honest, and all role swappers are villagers, so after we make the claims if I really was the troublemaker and it turns out that no one would have targeted me then it would be safe for me to come forward.

But it's important to be honest on this one because it muddles the water for the goodies otherwise. So if anyone makes a claim and then reverts it I'd say they are a wolf and should be lynched. Or maybe a tanner and they shouldn't be. But we can work that out later, the important thing is that lying here is genuinely bad for the role swappers' own interests and they should be honest because we'll assume that anyone who reverts has a hostile role.

An interesting idea, I'll bite.

I'd have:
Troublemakered Rowain and Serdoa.
Robbed Serdoa.
Witched Serdoa with a random roll.

Sorry, my Internet at home went down, so I can only post on phone. Serdoa was one of those I swapped, unless the witch stole my role. Will confirm the other when they state their role.
