I haven't decided yet.  I have 6 turns to think about it. When the Settler is made.

We have Copper on the North of Barcelona.  It does not change much the city locations planned.  Greenline, my neibourg on the East got 2 cities already.  I am thinking that the best next city should be city5a, so we can use the wheat to grow up, and we will have the horses ready very fast.  I like making a couple chariots to deal with Barbs, and not spending more units.
Next city could be city6 and after city1.

Girona has been founded.  And the worker starts to improve the horses tile.  Next turn I will whip a Settler and next city can be founded in 4 turns.
I am taking a risk for not making another warrior before sending the Settlers, but I will make warriors in the new cities, so they can grow up.  And in Barcelona after the Settler I will make a worker (comes out very fast with the overflow of the Settler) and afterwards a couple of Chariots to deal with Barbs.  Let's hope they don't come before!!
Alter the Wheel I will research Pottery, so in 7 turns Granaries will be available.
A very nice thing that I has observed is the commerce of the new city:  2 coins for the Industrious trait !!!  I didn't expected that.  It is a nice income.  With that and the Gold I can have a good pace of research!!

The Demo Screen shows that we are low in Food and Soldiers.  The rest is all right.  Besides that I am thinking to bring back the explorer at home and making further explorations with a Chariot.

Girona is a city at 100 km north of Barcelona and at 30 km from the Mediterranean see.  It is an old city from the Roman times, with a medieval old quarter very well conserved. The population is around 100K, that live mainly from small industries, agriculture, food processing (mainly pork products) and tourism.  The tourism activity is spread all along the coast with all types of beaches and small "calas" (rocky beaches with cliffs).

The third city, Lleida, was founded 2T ago by the gold.  And it will make a warrior until it grows up to make a granary.  In Girona a warrior was made, it growed to 2pop and now I will make a Worker and whipped.  Barcelona just made a Worker and now I will make a couple Chariots while it grows up to 4pop.
I finish now Pottery, and I was thinking about researching Meditation - Priesthood and try the Oracle.  But I see that someone just did Meditation and got the Buddism.  The player should be Xist or Dreylin as the increase of points indicates (see below pic).  Probably is Dreylin because he had Rome with Mining. So he had time to make BW and Mysticism.  I don't think Xist could do it, because he had no mining at the beginning... well as far as he didn't choose it as an Initial tech.  Xist in PB79 went fast to get the Oracle, so he must like that combo.
So I am doubting which should be my research path now. Might be making Politeism and getting the Hinduism?

Maybe I can add a short story of my life at this point... not really the best experience I had but something I can smile about, looking back at it.

My first solo-vacation, when I was 18(?), and I tried to get from Germany to Barcelona mostly hitchhiking (which was a new adventure by itself because I didn't do that before). Went smooth and fine with "bonus location" in france.
Having a nice time in Barcelona, I finally headed out to Girona which is indeed a really nice city. But then I found out that I was tricked and lost some money, could'nt get new pesetas from my bank account which was quite a shock if your pocket is almost empty. My parents did yome kind of post-office-money-transfer but it took a few days and I had to spend these days with an absolute minimum of money, basically near zero. I had breakfast at the hostel and calculated that my best value for calories/money was the cheapest sugar-lemonade from the supermarket. Spent a few days walking through the city and just chilling in nice places for hours to not waste energy mischief
So, yeah, Girona will be on my mind forever. Nice spot smile

I have a quite different experience but with the same initials... When I was 19 (1979) I was traveling hitchhiking from Madrid (where I lived) to the south of France.  With a very few money and lots of innocent desires of going anywhere.  And I found myself in the evening sitting down on a bench in the center of the city of Girona.  Someone came to chat with me. After sometime talking he told me that I could spend the night in an empty flat that he had in the old quartier.  So I did, and everything was great!!  The next day I left a greeting note with the key of the flat in the place we had accorded.

And the causalities of life brought me to live in this city 12 years later.  I don't know that person who let me that flat to overnight and I will always be grateful with that part of the city.

Now you would be surprised about the quantity of Germans living in Girona!!

A big dilema with the Barb on the horses. I could attack with the Warrior at 50% odds. But only with the aim of saving the horses.  But the risk of losing the warrior and having only one more warrior to defend is too high.  The warrior has no problems to defend the city on a hill, and I can remake the horses, which I don't need right now.
Well, I need them to finish the Chariot that I am making in Barcelona.
I decide to keep the warrior defending. The chariot in Barcelona needs 2 turns yet to finish, and I decide to whipt to avoid the problem in case the horses are destroyed.
This changes my plans in the capital of making the Chariot and with 4pop whipping next Settler.  But that's the game.  We have to adapt to what's happening.
And now with 2 Chariots I can defend everything in the next turns.
