Well, the point of working a specialist wouldn't be to slow growth, it's so that you can get an early academy, or if you're going for the Veil, Stigmata on the Unborn.

Heh, not going for veil/Hyborem, so that's not a problem... but academy... And early academy might indeed be wise... but frankly, i'm scared i get dogpilled :P Of course, i'm the freaking lanun and thus no threat to other people's eyes... so yeah.

Err... right, forgot to update. Anyway, the scout found the worst possible thing ever, a dungeon.
Warrior found nothing of value. Also, based on the scores, Sciz settled in place. Arendel is still looking around for something.

Calabrim, Malakim, Balseraphs, and Luchuirp settled turn 0. Doviello settled turn 1. Looks like me and Wood elves will settle this turn.

Ew, a barrow right next to the capital. If you keep the scout fortified on it, he'll block any spawns until you can get a warrior built to defend.
Once you can get eight units together you can safely explore the barrow by surrounding every tile. You may want to put that reasonably high up on your priority list because getting something like a free great engineer early on would be awesome.
Question: does the event log show that the Luchirp used their worldspell already? They really should, that's almost always the best play for it.

Hmm, i haven't checked my event log. Forgot. Anyway, the scout will remain on it. I do not want Skeletons. The Warrior will return shortly, replacing the Scout, which will go explore again. First build is definitely warrior first till one turn from completion, then switching to Work Boat.

In my copy of the game, version n, they can't use it until they have Masonry, and don't start with Masonry. At least in the Barb rush scenario - quite possible the standard game is different.
