However strangly enough... I seem to have been given a barbarian goblin with +1 poison instead of the normal Clan Goblin. This seems good but now I'm wondering if this goblin can tame a wolf and become a Wolf-Rider...?

Yes they can. I believe the mapmaker must have placed the wrong kind
However, they lose the +1 poison once they become riders.

Clan Scorpion goblins are awesome early on if you can find a fort nearby... 3 Strength +50% against animals pretty much allows you to kill every animal early on with respectable odds.

Else... you could possibly spam goblins and move them out in stacks of 2 to hunt some wolves

Neat. Score for me! Hopefully he will get a few easy promotions from other animals before finding a wolf!

This guy will have to be my long distance scout to find new nations. Maybe that means he should get a more dignified name... nah.

If i have to scout far away from home for wolves it might be best to move them in groups of two. The first one will just wander around the southern border most likely. Hope for that lucky early wolf.

Hmm... An interesting choice considering he'd lose access to the Prophet event. Could hint he doesn't intend to go Order or AV--if so, he'd just be losing that event for nothing.

Without any huts I suppose he wouldn't likely have the gold available for the event anyway.

Vampires unfortunatly seem to be good with all religions. While it's a shame if they don't plan for AV at least by the same logic they shouldn't be Order either.

Yes with the lack of huts and lairs I see the opening turns being very boring unless we get lucky with a migration of wolves.

I'm thinking I should raise the question of a blitz again after Mr Yellow tried it. I seem to remember someone thinking it would be a good time for everyone in 2-3 weeks... so around turn 25? The Horde should have a plan for the future by then.

I'm actually holding out most hope for a Religious Victory. I will have the Veil holy city, If I get a NAP with the Infernals and bring on the Apocalypse quickly enough no one should be able to stop it... (provided I talk the infernals into wasting their worldspell first, or them not having enough time to get the malevolent designs tech.)

So, basically you're saying you're going to make this a fun game to lurk? And we might not have to try to goad you into ill conceived but enjoyable wars like we do with everyone else?

Maybe. But I'm hoping to only THREATEN war untill I bring the Infernals into play. Then any cities razed will feed them.

I will get some more pictures up now. Still nothing major happening but one of the City spots has been successfully explored.
