Saw nothing of note with the warrior. Will push the scout "south" until we find the coast or the edge of the map. Original warrior will step onto that plains hill and then come back. 2nd scout will go whichever direction the first scout doesn't.

Agriculture -> Calendar -> Festivals

Scout -> Worker (Size 2) -> Warrior

24 gold from the hut, about 1 pyre zombie's worth.

Everything the Sheaim do in this game will be measured in Pyre Zombies, it being our currency of choice. For instance, a tech costing 270 beakers is worth 10 PZs.

I don't really care if Serdoa/others get to keep their goodies from huts or not. I would happily trade my 24 gp for a reroll on that table lol

I random'd a choice between 0 & 1 for whether or not we'd support a rebuild/nothing preserved versus a rebuild/everything preserved. It came up rebuild/everything preserved.

I'm just marking it down here in case they ask us to vote. For the meantime, I will be studiously ignoring the tech thread smile.

Ah, the old Athame issue. That happened to me constantly when making Adventure maps. When you alt-tab out of WB & then back in, the stupid game will replace whatever menu you were on (terrain, fog, etc) with the units one, and has you pre-selected to place that awful sword the first time you click anywhere rolleye



Getting a chance to re-roll the hut is cool. Can't get much worse than a small sum of gold.

And of course it was a Sidar one, at that, so I didn't even spot it on the minimap banghead. If it'd been Clan, that would have been easy to notice ahead of time.

Got a map instead of gold. Points out another hut and a lair. Unit moves kept the same. Sorely tempted to push the warrior towards the lair, the scout towards the hut lol.

That's def. a better result than the pittance of gold. Moving the warrior S, SE will give some decent vision. The land revealed so far is okay, but lacks what you really need- a non-jungle calendar or crafting happy resource.


I'd be very tempted to explore that dungeon, although probably with the scout instead of the warrior (that way you'll have the starting warrior and possibly an emergency-built second warrior in the capital if the lair spawns a lot of nasties). Scout obviously should pick up the hut first, but I think he can reach the dungeon before the game ramps up the danger level of "big bad" results.
