I don't even get what's the point of pitboss if it's simultaneous, can anyone explain?

Simultaneous pitboss generally has a fast turn pace. Wartime timer split shenanigans is the main exception.

I'm up for a PBEM, but not a Pitboss.
From the looks of things we have enough people for at least two games, probably three.
If you meant to ask what the point of sequential Pitboss is Amelia there are a few advantages:
*Much more difficult to cheat. *No email downloading+uploading needed (so easier to sub) *Ability to log in at any time *Better tools for tracking game stats *Much more difficult to hold up the game Disadvantages: *Requires Internet connection to play *Requires third-party server to play *Fixed turn length
I'd do a PBEM, I'm fairly regular and dependable (if a bit insane when provoked). I'm not sure my current nomadic internets would support the effort needed for Pitboss.
Travelling on a mote of dust, suspended in a sunbeam.
Rather than muddling this, I split our idea off into a new thread.
I've got some dirt on my shoulder, can you brush it off for me?
Sunrise I think email is in the wrong column. Its much easier for me at least to get an email sent to my phone telling me I'm up than having to check civstats all the time. Another pro is you dont need a reload for every misclick. Another pro is you can open old saves at a later date to dio your turn report.
