We are also pleasently surprised to meet you so early. Tell us, how do you feel about a rousing game of alternating challenges? We haven't yet come to a consesus regarding your challenge, but maybe once we do, we will attach one of our own.

As for rushing Sareln, I'm sure something can be arranged.

Do we want to send a reply (after a while, maybe after we've played our turn) ... just to keep things ticking along in a friendly fashion? And to put the ball back in their court.

I was thinking something like:

And on an organisational note: I think it would be a good idea if we start a diplo thread for each team when we meet them, analogous to the Turn Report thread - in it would go a copy of all correspondence/chats and a note of the turn that was on-going when it was sent, but no discussion. Maybe a link to where in this thread the discussion is. It'd make it a lot easier later to find deals etc than it will looking through this thread. Thoughts?

Tho given the style of their answer to us (which was a very good answer, I thought ) we could maybe think of something more entertaining & less specific than a person? I dunno, something like "the leader of your Cheerleading Squad" (that's a pretty lame suggestion tho ). Or "the person with the longest beard"?

We need a challenge too, but my mind is even blanker there
