This is probably a stupidly obvious answer, but Lilly is working the sheep, right?
I tend to agree with both of you:
* Darius should be the one that gets those river cities
* Joao needs to settle for Joao at first. Like Commodore said, we should build our snowball to get the most out of it later
I'd only be careful that we don't get tunnel vision and decide to give Darius everything. Joao can still expand for himself, even after we get past Currency / CoL.
(Do we go for Currency ahead of CoL?)

It's a good check, I moved the citizen before ending turn, no worries.
Currency vs. CoL: Org HRE on this map never efficiently builds wealth before a rathaus, even in the capital. However, I'm not sure how strapped for cash we'll be/how many islands will be visible. If we can get a second +2 route, maybe Currency...I'm assuming we're going via math, not priesthood, and so have a lot of flexibility up until that point.
I should make it clear, I agree too about the green river being Darius', just might want some wheat cities for Joao's own use first. In general, inland hammer spots go to Joao, while Darius will have a wide ring of coastal cities/river valleys. Darius in particular, post-CoL, we can feel free to toss his cities on the other side of Joao's land.

Yeah, i'm a little paranoid about the micro because we will finish AH at 175/175 on the dot with the plan in place.
Im sure everyone knows that there's no need to get too carried away with specialization too early. Just settle the best spots for each civ, even if that might be a good spot for the other.

I hope we wanted the extra hammer over the extra food.
Dotmap needs work.
How's the pitboss computer looking, Lew?

Well, the situation is that my wife gave her computer to her parents while their are in Beijing with us so I have to go over to their apartment whenever I want to use it. Luckily I'm in their apartment at least once per day, I just haven't been there when it was our turn yet.

Yeah, the extra hammer is very needed. It gets us work boat #2 out a turn earlier.
Of course, we also need the worker to mine the grass hill before farming the rice too, as counter-intuitive as that sounds.
