Toroidal wrap. I think it works the best with a donut script, though that was mostly influenced by pb2

Uhhhhh, as for turn order you want to keep it frequent at the start with as much communication as possible. Give people longer stretches later on, so there's less burden for information. But I've only done one SG myself, and had to pull out due to time pressure. I'll play first, if you want... but I'll post my plans before we engage in anything.
If you choosing still, I suggest you go for Dutch start:
- Bismarc start overpowered with food - India start has best UU in the game Anyway, I'll watch your game and offer my point of view from time to time, if it'll helps. Good luck!
Kinda of don't want to play the Bismarc start because the insane amount of food, India, would have been my pref'd choice, but any 3 will be fine.

Okay, let's play Willem. Seems to be a couple strong arguments for him and against Bizzy.
That suits me! Hart, you can take first then, and I'll follow. Turn order as follows Hart - 20 turns Dhal - 15 turns BaII - 10 turns Brian Shanahan - 10 turns Tasunke - 10 turns Hart - 10 turns etc etc Standard rules for SGs as stolen from Sullla, 24 hours to post a "got it" message for the save, then 48 hours after that to play and report. Post your reports, with lots of shiny pictures, and don't forget the save! On that note - Hart, here is the Willem save. Go nuts! http://www.filedropper.com/newbsg-start1-willem mackoti Wrote:SO GAVAGAI WINNED ALOT BUT HE DIDNT HAD ANY PROBLEM?
That's ok Hart, real life comes first, that's why we set up the 48 hr timer.

what does everyone think aboout our early game goals in this game?
The Dutch don't start with mysticism and are creative, so an early religion is neither easy nor very important, in my mind, though I don't know whether we need the happy or not. My gut feeling would be to start with a worker out of the gate and go straight to Pottery, The Wheel, then Mining - get those granaries up fast for growth and for the health, then get the wheel and mining in time to road to the second city and get some mines up once the cities grow big enough to work them. However, I'm new to Monarch, so I might be underestimating the military tech needs. mackoti Wrote:SO GAVAGAI WINNED ALOT BUT HE DIDNT HAD ANY PROBLEM? |
