Ok, Heisenberg seems to have abandoned us or been unable to contact us. He's had the save for 2 weeks now, and I haven't heard anything from him in that time period. I've tried contacting him on RB, through his e-mail address, and even asked Irgy. Irgy hasn't heard anything from Heisenberg either.
I hope it's not something dramatic in real life, but in any case, I think it's probably time to replace him, as discussed briefly by e-mail with some of the other teams.
What would be the ideal result? Somehow, we get an unspoiled interested human to come in and take them over. Anyone think that exists? I don't, but I'd be happy to be proved wrong.
What would be less ideal, but still manageable: Irgy's not able to take the Sheaim back over, but he has offered to log in long enough to turn them over to AI. This would bias the game somewhat toward the Elohim, since they're really the Sheaim's only neighbors. It would be bad for the Sheaim, but I think we can agree they're in last place at the moment anyway. I'm willing to go with this approach.
Another possibility: we accept a spoiled lurker, if anyone's interested in joining in. This would be biased toward the Sheaim, but again, they're in last place - I don't think there's a lot that spoiler knowledge could do to help them at this point. Obviously a spoiled lurker would have to agree to stop reading other threads from when they volunteer. I would be ok with this solution as well, subject of course to there being a volunteer.
What I don't want: the game to die in limbo. I think it's likely that Thoth will win this, but I'd like that to be official one way or the other. At the very least, if we can't arrange for/agree on a solution, let's declare him the winner so I can read his spoiler thread and figure out how he did it.
So, what do we need? First, are there any lurkers who'd be willing to step in, unspoiled or spoiled?
Second, what are people's votes on the subject? I know WarriorKnight is gone for the rest of this week, but if the other three of us can agree on something to propose when he returns, that would help move things along.
