Thanks to bob and novice for their summaries. All caught up now. To Rowain, TT, and anyone else who was poking me about my vote placement, I'll always have my vote somewhere meaningful if I can. I think I've been pretty consistent on saying I think that's good play. Although I take umbrage to the parking comment from TT, I would hardly say it was parked.
GG novice, pretty difficult position for you to play from.

Sacrificing your health for the town! That's the spirit. ...I didn't even do anything after the claim, which was midnight my time :/
Well you obviously needed to see how it worked out.

Now that novice has flipped scum, could you explain this Rowain?

I don't get the reasoning here.
No? How about they talked pre-game and decided they could sail easily to victory if they all claim cop get one lynched and have an easy time afterwards (especially as they would draw the protectors to themselves).
@mattimeo depends maybe Qgq is the godfather
Warning: the above is not entirely serious and I don't plan to go on a lynch Qg/lynch Mattimeo crusade ... immediately

GG, Novice.
Though I'm surprised to see Good Guy Novice choosing Mafia over town doctor!
I'm excited for day 2!

After Mattimeo's reveal Novice was gone. You might as well bus at that point. Except, if we go by Rowains (presumably not entirely serious) theory, we're all three scum. Surely I'd finger Qgqqqqq rather than novice in that instance.
No, clearly the explanation is that I'm actually the Cop/Lover and Qgqqqq is the Mafia Lover, and that BRick retroactively allowed the lover-specific wincon.
Though I did find it interesting that every single person who based their voting off knowing one 'cop' was lying voted for novice. I was expecting some back and forth about who was the liar, there.
I agree, I found that very weird. Especially for me, as your reveal pushed you into prominence without need...did no one really find me scummier than novice? Given that 6 players felt strongly enough that I was scum before I claimed, I find it odd that none of them actually found me scummy enough to vote over novice (who was largely a null read, IMO, given he'd posted so little).
That, for me, makes me think quite strongly that we have scum in the mix of those who were pressuring me for a claim.

The only thing that made Novice's lurking less suspicious was that he had claimed during the day, and therefore happened to bring content to the discussion. But with you three equals in your claim his absence combined to the super risky gambit you and Matt would have been doing had you been lying made him the greater suspect to, apparently, everybody.

IMO these are the early novice voters that get some town points:
Fenn, http://realmsbeyond.net/forums/showthrea...#pid517842
dtay, http://realmsbeyond.net/forums/showthrea...#pid517861
And Jabbz, http://realmsbeyond.net/forums/showthrea...#pid517866
And reactions from the same people to novices cop claim:
Fenn, http://realmsbeyond.net/forums/showthrea...#pid517907
dtay, http://realmsbeyond.net/forums/showthrea...#pid517913
Jabbz, http://realmsbeyond.net/forums/showthrea...#pid517936
---
After Matt claims cop and votes novice:
Jowy votes novice, http://realmsbeyond.net/forums/showthrea...#pid518452
He started to pressure novice before the reveal as well.
AdrienIer goes "Boom" and then votes novice, http://realmsbeyond.net/forums/showthrea...#pid518453
Zak thinks novice is scummiest of the three, http://realmsbeyond.net/forums/showthrea...#pid518456
Jabbz votes novice, http://realmsbeyond.net/forums/showthrea...#pid518457
Ichabod votes novice, http://realmsbeyond.net/forums/showthrea...#pid518460
So we get to vote situation:
6 votes: novice (Mattimeo, Jowy, AdrienIer, zakalwe, Jabbz, Ichabod)
I strongly believe we have 6 towns in here based on the timing of their votes.

Think about it this way. Novice had to claim cop early, and in case he's town, the wolves also know this now.
Instead of spending the day hunting wolves as a confirmed town (from his POV), he lurks the whole day. He's basically done nothing and will most likely bite the bullet during night as well. When looking at the plays between you three, it was obvious that novice had played the least townish.

Your post ids aren't working well for me, Meiz.
Why do you think that the first 6 on the early novice train are town? You don't actually give any reasons for that, and I can see scum throwing him under the bus, especially when he was that inactive.

Novice didn't have any votes on him before Matt's claim. So when we get to 3 cop claims, I don't believe novices scum buddies first instinct is to vote against him. Especially when you've been a suspect for most of the day.
The timing of the votes is key here. IMO it's after these 6 votes that is clear that novice is going down.
