I don't think turning something into a PBEM against everyone else's will, via the mod, when everyone signed up for a Pitboss is a technicality. I'm okay with someone doing the dirty work of defending when someone drops because they are getting pwned but anything beyond that and you start running into problems. Probably the best example is Plako getting screwed over in Pitboss 4. He would have killed someone for free but instead he got bogged down against someone who he never would have DoWed in the first place. If your talking about Pitboss 18 then I stand by anything I said. IIRC, it was mostly in response Old Harry/Fin salt about losing not having any legs because replacement players (edit: actually 90% LP which was much worse--this changed the rules in the middle because LP wasn't even a real replacement.) was far worse than anything you did.
What's the over under 'till scooter asks REM to be replaced?
REM had major RL problems before this point so the real cause is that he isn't eager to play anymore.

This game has been great entertainment, but none of the players appear to be enjoying it at this point, and it's clearly stressing out at least REM and Boldly / Xenu. REM isn't really doing well enough to win via concession- it's not clear he can win if Boldly piles back on him- but it sounds like people might start dropping soon. Perhaps someone ought to suggest ending the game as a draw while things are still relatively friendly?
IDK, REM and Scooter enjoy playing it, Scooter says the last few turns were played at a reasonable pace, Pindi doesn't want the game to end this way, the only problems are coming off of BGN/Xenu team. And they're not anywhere near a contender. So I'd say play on and if they start to grumble too much they're the ones that should find a sub.
