Hunting is in (we are the only team to get a tech this turn), and AH due in 11.
Our worker is due in 9.
The warrior moved 1SW to reveal saltwater coast. I don't know if we'll meet anyone else by circling around our capital, so we may want to discuss exploring northwards.

T8 has begun

I haven't played to wait for a discussion about exploring

Meanwhile, regoarrarr/Dantski, dsplaisted/Fenton and Dreylin/kalin's capitals have grown

Dreylin/kalin and Imhotep researched a tech, but I do not know how to determine exactly what

From what I've heard comparing army size (?) helps determine that, since apparently you get different amounts for different techs.

I still favour completing he circle. Walking north, we will just run into Ruffs land for a while. I don't think we are on a peninsula or such.
I suggest walking 1S and 1SW next.

Alright! You can go ahead and finish the turn

Next two turns played.

Buddhism was founded. (must be Broker33, he was on our suspect list)
I bet sunrise will land Hindu next turn.

We will reveal some new tiles next turn (walking SW).

Our ept standing with Ruff/TAD is 12/12, so that probably means they have not met someone else, yet.

Does founding a religion have anything to do with when you log in or end turn the turn before discovering the tech? I find it interesting that both regoarrarr and sunrise have yet to log in and play, and I wonder whether it has anything to do with religion chasing. Likely purely coincidence.

EDIT: Add Broker33 to that list, who we presume to have founded Buddhism

It would also be interesting to know why dsplaisted logs in about a thousand times per turn.

Sunrise has yet to discover his first tech. That's why I think he will got for Polytheism.
As far as the Religion founding is concerned I am not sure when it will show up. I know from the Apo game, that the in-game points for the relevant tech will be awarded at turn-tick-over, but the actual message in the game log "Christianity founded in Jerusalem" was only shown after the civ logged in first time. However, that was with Religion Choosing active.

When two civs (or more) discover the relevant tech for a religion at the same turn, I believe their is a coinflip in simultaneous MP at the start of the turn about who gets awarded the religion. Nothing to do with when they log in. Same with wonders and bonus GPs.

Warrior moved 1SW, revealing a 1-tile lake beside the corn and little else. The warrior should probably move 1W, then 1SW around the lake
