I wish i had some kind of a great people count from the beginning of the game. Now I'm not sure if PB is able to rush Infernal Pact with a prophet. If so, there's a dozen or so turns before Hyborem arrives.

I'm going to gamble once again and continue expanding while researching education. If i can reach agristocracy unbothered then i'll have a fair chance to research the military techs (archery, horseback riding and stirrups) relatively quickly. With current research Stirrups would be discovered in about 70 turns, so I pretty much have no other choice than improving economy.

Event log says a sage was born at some time before I took over. I can't figure out when it happened or to which player. If the sage wasn't PB's then he still is able to pop a prophet quickly. But then again, he was Philosophical, so possibly he can afford popping an early sage and keep accumulating great prophet points to get a GP in time to bulb Infernal Pact.

Only Kuriotates and Khazad got +12 points that turn and I know Khazad's commerce output. This, and the fact that Lanun and Kuriotates are the best Hyborem rushers out there.

On a different note: either I suck at reading demographics or Sareln reclaimed his 2nd city, which grew back to size 3 (I'm afraid it's the former). Rival's worst pop rose by 21k (size 3 city) and total pop increased by 5k (size 3 minus size 2), so I guess that's the case. But then again Sareln's food output is quite low for this. Can you help me figure this out without spoiling? Is there any other way of reading this? Here's recent demographics and score:

I'm lost in demographics. Looks like Khazad is getting a beating as well. I expected PB's alignment to change to Neutral or Evil in consequence of adopting Ashen Veil, but it didn't happen. Maybe he's not rushing Hyborem after all. It's possible that Ashen Veil was founded by someone else via a savant popped from a dungeon or an event.

Anyway, settler is out in 4 turns. I think I'll settle on the A spot. B has very little growth potential before AH and Construction and C is quite far away.
