In the larger picture, we may be in trouble. Speaker/Sulla/Sunrise just got education, and they've already gotten guilds and philosophy. That means they'll probably be able to tech banking, and then take economics from liberalism, at which point they're uncomfortably close to rifling. We may need to plan on teching steel, if we're going to have to defend against Redcoats.

. Now I've pseudo blocked Spear as well. If the map was a bit smaller this would have been happening earlier. Though because its big it gives us a chance at the culture win. Otherwise we'd be dead. We're still possibly dead. But at least now we have a shot.
