So, are we allowing communications if we haven't met people in game? I don't remember discussing this point specifically.

Since there's at least one post in this thread, I would say no.

So apparently we discussed this in this thread already...... apparently my brain also looks like my profile picture if you actually got a look at it.
Since we had 2 & 1/2 votes to allow it, I suppose that means it's kosher then.

Hello Musicman! My warrior just made contact at your SouthEastern borders. I would like to go ahead and say that I hope we can be friendly neighbors throughout these rough early times. I would also like to know if you will be interested in a NAP? I was thinking a 7 turn rolling NAP, which means we have a NAP which will go until one of us want to cancel it, and when that happens we have a 7 turn waiting period before it is actually cancelled. How would that sound?

nice to meet someone. welcome to egypt!
your nap is 7 turns long but continues until someone cancels, then you wait 7 turns and you are free to attack? that sounds fine but i just want to make sure i understand totally. why 7 as well i wonder?

Yeah, thats the gist of it. Of course, you don't have to attack when it runs out, it only opens up an option. I just thought the rolling one sounded interesting to do, cause it allows us to be peaceful with each other for a while, and then if one of us wants to cancel it we get an honor period before the deal is counted over with. And in the game on normal speed peace treaties are 10 turns, so seven sounds right for quick speed i guess?
Actually, just reread your wording. Its not a 7 turn NAP, it lasts as long aas we wwant it, just with tthe 7 turn cancel period when we're done.

Great, glad to have a deal
Also, read the last part of my last post I edited in, the 7 turns is only how long it stays around after its cancelled, not a length for it. The length goes on as long as we want, so no reason to be counting up turns

Our land is a peaceful one. So long as your scout behaves himself, he has nothing to fear.
