Just so you guys are aware, because it's not immediately obvious for sequential. This is still a pitboss, it's possible for any team to log in to the game outside their turn and mess with worked tiles, tech assignments, city builds, etc. to confuse demographics screen. Only reliable indicator of what happened are the graphs.

Picking up on issue of C&D obfuscation outside a team's turn. This is not something we discussed before the game and some lurkers voiced an opinion this kind of stuff should be banned. I'm mildly in favor on this ( it's relatively harmless in the long run, but does give an edge to teams with better timezone spacing and more people that can log in frequently ), but won't push for a ban unless all teams are in favor.

Would you agree to a ban on altering game state outside a team's turn?

Because the game is in progress already there will be no public vote. The ban will pass only with unanimous support. If it fails, there will be no information who vetoed it or why.

I'm fine with it (maybe word it as something like "intentionally changing the game state outside your turn to obscure C&D of other teams". I could see say where someone logs in and just happens to see say a population growth that the stupid civ AI put on as a citizen and you change it right then so as not to forget being alright)

I'm quite aware of this, and is a danger to tracking tiles. However this only really applies to food/mfg/gnp, all the other categories can't really be faked.

As for the ban I'm in favor for it.

Well thanks to T4 Demogs, we know that everyone but Menagerie has 21 land tiles in their BFC. We'll know how many Menagerie has once they expand borders on T5, whatever the rival low is in land will be it.

The other thing is that rival best GNP jumped up to 21 from 19 between T1 and T3. The most likely candidate is one of the Creative leaders, either TEAM or Trolls. One of them either decided to switch techs to something with a pre-req, or a border pop allowed them to work a high commerce tile in their 2nd ring, but neither seems particularly likely. The most likely reason is tile switching (and the mere possibility of this prevents us using this for anything).

Turn 5 Demos

TEAM got a tech worth 2000 soldier points, which makes it either Hunting or Mining. I think Hunting is more likely of the two because of the deer, although if it was Mining their next tech should be BW which is easy to figure out.
