With only one scout, nothing to be revealed by the first tech and a clear plan of what to build (a large, stony calculator) it's going to feel slow even with a decent turn pace. Would be nice to get a clear 1 turn a day pace rolling, but I have no actual experience in trying to do so myself, so I'll leave complaining to you.
While I deliberately looked at growing to size 5 and BW first an alternative to your initial plan, after reflection I can't see that it's actually worth it. Delaying a switch to slavery until your first settler is moving is generally worth it; delaying your first settler so it can be timed with a switch to slavery needs something more than a couple of warriors and an extra grassland forest to work, I think.
The other marginal gain from going BW first is to see where the copper is, but you're almost certainly going to need wheel to get it hooked up (if Commodore has put copper on one of the few river tiles, all of which are flat, I would be tetchy; under the cap would be fine by me, but is unlikely). Might affect city site choices, if you do have any close neighbours though. Any decision can wait a while longer, in any case.

I'll PM you the setup instructions that I got from BRick for a couple of games that I was setting up so you can do the same if you want...

Thanks for the setup instructions Dreylin. I'll keep that in my back pocket for if turn pace ever substantially slips. I think we just have a not-great set of timezone playing times, tbh.

Turn 8.
Scout starting to loop back around the capital, worker goes to plains to put a turn into the farm, and capital switches to warrior.

It's actually a bit desolate by RB standards, isn't it, at least out to the west? One good thing about building SH will be plenty of time to scout and dotmap, although I hadn't remembered that barbs were on, which makes that a slightly riskier proposition...

barbs were originally supposed to be off, but we all decided just to play on once we noticed the mistake

Worker is a couple turns into the rice farm. Revealing more food up north, haven't met anyone else yet.

It's good that you don't seem to be too close to anyone (fingers crossed); plenty of time to get SH built before you need axes and spears.
It's going to be an interesting decision as to tech path after BW: when to pick up Fishing, and which of IW, CoL, Cal, Currency to prioritise. There's jungled resources, but Oracle is tempting as an IND/Myst civ, while there are unjungled dyes at the cap. Remind me, do you have torroidal maintenance to contend with?

I believe we are toroidal, yes.
I would like to make a push for Oracle, since we used no forests for Stonehenge and have a few in the capital.
I think after BW we go for Pottery to get granaries rolling and then move on to Writing and IW.

Turn 13.
The capital
The west
The north
That's Khan up there, not sure how much we have to worry about there. Worker will start Ivory next turn, just as Ivory finishes we should hit size 3.
