I am a green MP player, so take my opinion for what it's worth ... I do not want a long unwinnable struggle, but I still want to do the most damage possible.
Long term we have 0% chance of winning, so lets look at short term benefits of peace. I think that peace is in our best interest if we can include a condition that Tortuga must be razed and must be resettled closer to Animal Farm [must invest in a settler, give up hill defense there, and Tortuga really is the best location in the area that I can see]. Extra benefits to us would be great if we can get them, but I would include that condition for taking peace. Also, no long NAPs. If we are doomed in the long run, NAPs have no long-term benefit so lets keep our options open.
If M3 demands to keep Tortuga then we gain nothing in the short term by peace. Might as well keep M3 on their toes with the constant threat of us.

From what I can gather, our main objective is to hurt M3 as much as we can, not necessarily survival. In that case, I think we should abandon Tortuga and retreat back to Barbados, forcing M3 to pour more hammers into military. Don't take peace, instead just build Axes until the end.
More people have been to Berlin than I have.

Ok, slightly better outcome than expected, although the end result is the same. Our full-strength axe killed an axe before it died to the second attacker, our wounded axe was killed as expected, and then a QUECHUA defeated an axe!! (the axe wasn't full strength, but still ) As small as this victory is, it might be the difference between M3 deciding to push on towards Barbados or being content with razing Tortuga.
Tortuga now has 2 full-strength Q's & one 0.8str vs M3's 2 axes and 2 warriors. If we could just upgrade both of our Q's ... or even 1. We are 60g short though so we would have had to start saving gold before fishing came in, and at that time we weren't expecting 5 axes to come knocking.
This turn kill warrior 2SW of Barbados with Spear, re-road that square with workers. Hopefully get some type of peace that will give us a decent chance of inflicting some damage in 20 turns.
How does war weariness work? M3 has lost 3 axes and a warrior in out territory. Is that enough in the early-game to cause an unhappy face?

as I recall WW gets reduced a lot in MP games, so they probably won't have any. Anyway, go quechuas!

Do we pull out of Tortuga? If we do, they might not be willing to negotiate with us, but we can't keep that city as it stands. I think we should pull out.

Given that Tortuga is population 1, doesn't it get autorazed at this point? If/when they take it, that is.

I agree with thestick, we should pull out of tortuga. At this point our qs are nothing but free experience for their axe men. And unfortunately, it won't get auto razed because it has previously grown.

Okay. Just asking 'cause of possible diplomatic negotiations.
