Loaded up our Settler and Axe... should have been an archer... Then again, what can we do...
Moved the ships so the settler/axe can land next turn and settle the turn after that. Then we can ship the worker/archers and get the axe back.

Landed our party

Hmm... Don't think we'll get there...

We founded our last city: Last Stand

It's defended by Yama, our Great General Archer.
But don't know if it's enough against those two:

Our Trireme couldn't attack their Galley's... allas...
Whipped FG down to the ground:

And here is their attack force:

Jester and Nakor, sorry you had such a reversal of fortune. Top of the scoreboard to elimination in 20 turns. alright

Thanks for sticking it out though, and not deleting/pillaging your own stuff in disgust. While your defense could have been done better, your sportsmanship was good throughout. Thanks guys.

I dunno...I really didn't see the value of pillaging every single tile. We probably should have but it really wouldn't have made much of a difference and tbh I am kinda lazy. lol Losing metal so early really hurt our chances of defending plus whipping axes just prior to having our iron cut off didn't help much either (should have been spears instead). Chalk that up partly to the screwy turn split mechanic. I think lack of map awareness really was what did us in though. I mean it's not like there has never been naval invasions before. If we would have had a sentry galley or two in place (to see the invasion coming), we would have had more than one turn to emergency whip. Not sure it would have changed the outcome (we really were lacking in military) but I assure you the defense would have been better. Still, being at the top of the scoreboard means zero if you don't have enough military to stay there. Good learning experience and the game was immensely enjoyable.

Do you think you would do better without Great Lighthouse?
