If I remember to send on the save. So checking the tracker is mandatory for me.

I can manage one turn a day, except for emergencies (like hitting my head, again). If I have a ded-lurker I can also manage the few days I'll be not available (exams in January, and May if it lasts that long).

I think it can but I don't know if it works. We could set it up in a private game to test.

But I'd imagine it would cause problems if you were involved in multiple games at once, I don't think Civ 4 is set up to distinguish multiple saves going to multiple partners.

If we are going to play builder I'd rather use Sareln mod. Even though I don't know anything about the current version. I don't think base FFH mod is balanced enough for this sort of game and I don't want to play an aristofarm spamming contest with the usual suspect civs lol

I think giving you the Doviello while we all take FIN civs is an appropriate handicap smile.

I could go either way on this one to be honest. I feel the mod didn't get a good workout in 13, but I liked the changes I experienced.

Well, I'm seeing a couple of deal killers here for me:

1) Diplo. I'm not interested in playing a full Diplo game, I'd prefer a CTON.

2) The EITB mod. At this point I'm not very interested.


If the other players who have signed up for this game want Diplo and or the EITB mod then I'll lurk with interest, but I'll bow out of the roster. smile

The good news is I found a mapmaker, Bob. The bad news is we ahve mutually exclusive requirements lol. Hope about AI diplo Thoth? That's near 0 effort but you can still do resource trades and open borders. Would everyone else be okay with that?

For the mod, it seems mackoti and Thoth don't want it, and uberfish does. I really have no idea how to settle that little disagreement.

Hmm. I thought CTON allowed Map Trades/OB/resource trades...you just aren't allowed to discuss deals (at least that's the ruleset I think we played in XI). smile In any event, full on out of game diplo is far too time consuming for my taste.

As far as the mod goes, given the number of people who expressed interest in the original thread, we can probably create one mod game and one regular FFH game.

I'm interested in a regular FFH game with a bit of a twist (advanced start is my preference as I've never actually tried one in FFH lol) and builderish start positions.

If there are more people who want different settings ect then I'll happily cede my spot to someone else and lurk away merrily. smile
