Yuris' city was razed by the barb warrior. That's good. City #7 on the island cost me 8gpt. That's bad. I am top crop with 86, 2nd is 60. That's good. Borsche is still spending EP on me and I lost graphs. That's bad. The frogurt is still cursed.

Writing in 3 and then limp to math->currency. Starting to feel like PB20 TOW game where I crashed the economy under the weight of way too many cities early on.

Basking in the glow of artifically boosted gnp with 3-prereqs for writing. Oracle build underway. Math is the current bottleneck. Settler racing towards the razed city area, that won't help math at all. Away from sims, but late 70s was the early target and seems feasible with a library whip in capital while I save gold to run 100%.

Back at home, better able to provide an overview of everything that's going on. And there is enough going on, although not 115000 soldiers going on like someone has or Jowy taking cities from Mardoc.

Starting with peaceful things, southern exploration revealed a Commodorian Island of Goodies. We'll see if there are things like stone/marble, but that is the first rice that I have seen all game.

Capital suffered a 3-pop whip for the library. This city grows like a weed so all of its whipped citizens should be back very quickly. Starting scientists next turn for a GS around T89 (meh).

Yuris Theater

Positioning around a bit here, Yuris' holkan is guarding two workers. I didn't want to walk the axe onto a tile that could have been hit by a chariot (or double teamed by an axe or whatever), but it looks like yuris also doesn't have horse hooked up yet. See upper right. Nevertheless, opted to sit adjacent to the ruins. My own settler is in that city and will get to copper pig in two turns, settle on turn 3. I am last to play, so yuris has some time to get his own settler in theater. Axe/Spear pair also entering for me.

Borsche Theater

Borsche showed his settler last turn and moved to the current spot. I moved my axe to get his warrior off the copper last turn, but didn't pursue him more. I'm tentatively OK with this spot for his settler and 1E. I don't really want to fight both of these guys at the same time. Showing my axes so he doesn't push too far forward.

War

Trade connection with Yuris established, confirmed he has no horse. I would be shocked if he doesn't have another unit he can put into the city. It is unpleasant but could move the city 1S if I must but it screws that wheat city up pretty big (settling on wheat, orphans a fish).

Everything worked out really well. First axe had 96.9% so took the shot. Down to a spear at 50% and rolled the dice. Had a Q to clean up, but this approaching barb makes life a little difficult. Spear won, saving a tougher decision.

Math research is taking a beating.

Two turns in one day. nod

Yuris smacked my exploring Q in his territory and then offered peace, which I accepted. New city makes math awkward. Oracle can be finished in 3 turns, but math won't come in for 5 maybe 4 turns. This settling race may cost me it, which would be very unfortunate.

Hope that doesn't mean anything over on the western front.

Spying score and the demos, it looks like Adrien and possibly some other civ is losing badly in a war. Assuming that everyone has these 1v1v1 setups, that does not bode well for the future. Someone with 1.5 or 2x starting civ land could become a monster before other islands have a chance to do anything. Very PB16.

This isn't too bad though.

Does anyone care about this game or is PB27 dominating forum time?
