Trying to date this soon after a long relationship has ended usually ends up a waste of time and energy.
I wouldn't call it inappropriate; it just so rarely ends out working well emotionally.

Well my only positive on that front is that i was emotionally detached from my 4yr relationship for a solid 4 months before i got the balls to end it.
Solid middle or so in most demos. Every city with any lick of production will be popping out HA's very very soon. Other cities will be pumping out settlers to go settle some islands, while the remaining cities produce galleys to trade unfavorably with any/all triremes. Im fairly determined to make whomever attacks me have no chance of winning the game. Problem is, i can be ganked from the sea via vikings. Japan has samurai very soon which have basically no real counter unless i get to catapults.. and Mr.Cairo has perfectly good reasons to dogpile once i start losing cities. MScience is the only non-factor as im sure he has plenty of issues with his 11 CITY EMPIRE. Jesus H. Christ.

Japan got its GEngineer and bulbed Machinery. Im going to suspect 5-6 samurai and likely 1-2 spears + some axes to be coming down the pipeline soon. Archers are the "best" choice if i was defending at say... a chokepoint. But im thinking anything that isnt "melee" is the right choice to negate strength 8 Anti-melee Japanese units. Archers being pumped from my capital ( which is just now finishing a barracks ) to reinforce/keep my cities, Horse archers from my 3 other "main" cities with other cities still working on infrastructure. Magic Science is strangely still at war with Mr.Cairo. I figured it was a war-peace... if its any kind of real war it should at least distract Mr.Cairo from launching an attack..... right?
Either way... i declared on Japan and offered a 10t peace to throw their hand. If they want to dogpile Magic Science, they accept within the next couple turns. I will not accept peace after 5t or at least not a very long one.. I think i can hold unless he kinda runs by my defenses and goes straight for the capital. All depends on how fast he moves.

Stone will connect soon, which will give me easy whippable walls. Going to plant a fish city soon, and then the rest of my galleys will be preventing GKC/Japan from getting to my islands for as long as possible.

If i cant get someone else to harass Naufragar... ill probably fall. Will japan be able to get out of their financial crisis after taking my land? Will Mr.Cairo join in, and attack me from the right? Stay tuned to this weeks episode of " Why did this pitboss continue after a t40 death"?

Not great, Kinda glad he only included ONE spear though. That helps out a bit. Hope he stops to bombard? IF he does i can slam his stack with quite a lot of HA's/axes..
Down the rabbit hole we go!

I decided to hide the axes by moving them SW. Lets them continue their role of defending whatever city comes under attack, but keeps them a bit more... secret.

Surprise power bump maybe?
