If we and NabeliaNight are able to finish off the Evil Empire (no sure thing at this point), I'm assuming it will come down to a contest between them and us for the win. If that happens, I'd rather have Hemah on our side.

We're already up. Took a short peek. Our adept stack is still ok. Unfortunately I lost my mud golems so there are no roads to help us next turn. However I've several fireballers on their way so situation will improve soon.
I'll cash rush Hemah. Before doing that I'll trade the mana I think will be useful from you. That will mean at least cancelling temporarily Enchantment mana trades from Lurchuip and Ilians (Other can be immediately restored). I'll probably convert 2 extra nodes to Enchantment since Spellstaff is the easiest to gain power spell we can get to Hemah. Not sure what else I could easily give him with this short notice, but I'll figure it out. I can do the mana node modifications/trades so you can focus on being puppeteer.
If you can do damage against their stack on the city go ahead. With puppets 2nd tier summons reach the city and snowfall might weaken them enough to kill few units. If the odds are bad though you shouldn't bother so that they don't get free xp. They've also Radiant guards and vampires now so better be careful.

Speaking of cash, it's going to take 43 gold for each adept->mage upgrade. Should we turn off research completely for a turn or two?

First, fan service:

Not exactly a huge stack, but we're working on it .
Tactical situation:
I definitely think it's worth hitting the stack in Napa. I don't think I can wipe it, but I can kill a bunch of them.
Pending, of course, some Floating Eye recon. I really should have sent some eyes out when I was in the game taking screenshots.
Plako: please kill the griffon with fireballs. I'll take care of the golem-killers with skeletons and adepts. Don't kill the barb warrior - he should move onto flat ground next to Dunkirk next turn, and provide more adept XP.

I logged in and sent out some floating eyes. The stack in Napa is the bulk of their forces.

Played a bit further. i've now 4 enchantmet mana prepared (olease accept my deal suggestion when you log in) alonside with that I could get Air I, Chaos I or Life I. None of them makes much sense to me so it probably is best just start with Enchantment I and the promote towards other more useful spells.

Did you find any spare money you can toss my way? Each 43 gold means that instead of attacking with a puppet, I can attack with a spectre (and maybe a puppet if I'm lucky with a Light mutation).

I logged in, accepted the mana trade, and staged most of my units. I still have 6 adepts capable of being promoted to mage, so I need about 250 gold for that, 350 if I'm to stay at 100% research.
In my careless move for this turn, I failed to notice that one of my adepts had the Heavy promotion, and ran out of movement on him. I think I'll just delete him; he won't be able to keep up with the rest of the stack.

Hi guys,
I admit i've barely begun digesting this mammoth thread but you seem to be in a strong position (which is not surprising at all!). Apologies for dropping before.

I wouldn't be betting the house on our team at this point, Kyan, although things are looking a lot better than they were 5-10 turns ago. It's been a very interesting and challenging game so far.
