For the new city name how about Goldschläger?

If we settle the stone city sooner do we still get the techs in time, plako? I remember you saying your tests showed that commerce was better than expansion if we're to get the Pyramids sooner?

Goldschläger is fine with me. You might argue that the name gives away its location, but the other teams might well expect us to pick fake names and start second-guessing that. On that note, one of our cities also has to be named WIFOM.

Our next city should clearly be On The Rocks.

Or maybe just name the gold city WIFOM, and avoid those nasty German letters.

EDIT: Just remembered that our capital has wines. So maybe rename the capital to WIFOM and the gold city to Caipirinha? crazyeye

Micro plans Novice has layed out are mostly done.

Here is the latest shot covering most of our area. We've 5 workers. 2 have just finished improving Wheat near HN. 1 was just finished from Bitter and 2 is improving gold.

Unless someone can get a more detailed micro plan done or objects my thoughts, I'll be following these ideas:

Most of the workers move towards gold city to prechop/improve tiles there (Might leave 1 behind to north to mine and later to head towards marble city). On the road they'll cottage 1 riverside tile near Bitter and 2 near Bloody Mary.

Try to grow to happy cap ASAP (there are some whip anger so might not be able to do this as fast as possible). With happy cap of 5 we can work 2 Scientist both in Bitter and HN + 3 good/decent tiles. BM will just work 5 tiles unless we really need few extra beakers from scientists more than working some of the power tiles there. Capital will probably stagnate on size 5 and build us the Stone settler after the Fast worker working 5 improved tiles including the wines (might need to consider cottaging 1 more tile there). When happy cap is reached most of the cities would build workers/settlers.

That sounds like a good plan overall. Has anyone got an updated sandbox? I can try to update it if not, but I don't want to duplicate efforts.

I haven't updated sandbox, unless you start the job I can do that this evening.

I agree, that sounds like a good overall plan.
I have to run.

Messed around a bit, came extremely close to completing pyramids EOT79, so I think that is very doable.

No more civ access for me today, though.
