[SPOILERS] Catherine of China

T108

I've yet again revisited the dot map. I go for most secure way to position them instead of maximum utilisation of tiles. One of those cities is settled next turn.

If you wonder, I made some changes after taking the screenshots from previous turn so that Constrction was delayed 1T.

Another city founded. I'm afraid they're a bit too expensive so I delay settling the next one even if we've settler ready.

We are probably going to need atleast one combat settler and a few combat workers.

There are 3-4 workers close to the border and I like the settler idea. I'll send the ready one towards tyvm.

Good luck! Roll a dozen hits in a row! So what's the plan?

No plan lol.

I've some general ideas though. At 1st we want sentry unit and try to spot more accurately what WK is doing and where the units has been positioned. If we can spot holes in the defense, we could try to utilise them immediately. Otherwise I think that this will be just a brute force attack in ~10T. We could go directly against capital and/or do some other manouvers that ASM suggested earlier.

Also we're getting cultural control of couple of key tiles within next 5T that e.g. prevent 1 moving tyvm from the 1st turn of war (currently 50/49 to him).

WK declared and killed our warrior in his backlines. Not a big thing. I just thought we had a NAP until this turn and didin't notice it right away.

We should scout WarrioKnight's coastal holdings with our galleys and pillage his nets. A lot of his production will be coming from whips but the land up there is quite sparse for food. We should be fine with 5 major developed production centers. Basically sail our galley 1 SW of his city back there and then along his easten coast.

Role playing doesn't seem to work too well. Maybe it is language barrier, but things seem to be taken quite seriously. I definately thought he shouldn't declare that turn. Otherwise I would have moved ;-) differently. On the other hand losing that warrior was pretty irrelevant so I could have let it go without a fuss. In the end I decided to try to have some fun with role playing and take 100% approach where there definately is a case that he had read the deal differently and we're both 50% right.

On his side I think he should have realised that I wouldn't have moved the way I did, if I considered our NAP was over. On the other hand wording of the deal was bad.
