Is that character a variant? (I just love getting asked that in channel.) - Charis

[SPOILER] Asoka of the Vikings (Nakor & Gaspar)

I understand what you're saying, but building wealth in a 5 hammer city doesn't give us a lot. Those 2 banks will give us a lot of extra gold in a few turns...

Don't know for sure if I dialed down science. Do you have time to take a look?

You did. I made a couple of minor tweaks and ended turn.
I've got some dirt on my shoulder, can you brush it off for me?

Played most of the turn again.
We got the Redcoats from Locke to get on our Galleon's next turn and start sailing north. We got our first batch of upgraded Zerkers from Plako.
Ships are still being build and we're going to get close to that 40 Galleon/20 Frigate mark we set earlier with all the ships gifted to Plako already.

Took a look, everything looks okay. I ended turn.

And another turn. Loaded the Redcoats and the stray catapult on the Galleon's and started moving towards attacking position.

Attack force for Pardus will consist of:
17 Redcoats
1 Catapult
9 CKN's
7-8 Frigates

That leaves for the attack on Leo:
ca. 15 Amph. Riflemen
12 CKN's
7-8 Frigates

Not a lot to whip this turn since most builds completed.
Send another Galleon to Plako with Zerkers to be upgraded and 420 gold to do that.

War time is getting closer!

Played another turn. Moving, loading, upgrading, buying, whipping.

Gaspar, I'm away today, can you play the turn today? I can make small adjustments near the end of turn.

I'll try and catch it in about 6 hours. I've been kind of out of it on most of my games the last few days with a bunch of little things going on, but I'm sure I can manage a turn. Is there any info you'd like to impart on me about whips/buys/troop positioning before I play?

Nope, just do what you think is best. Don't think it will matter all that much in the long run.

Well, with that inspiring lead-in, what could go wrong? lol

Actually, while I took a look at the turn, I do sort of feel sufficiently out of the loop that I don't know what I'm doing. Neither one us is particularly inspiring re: turn reports. wink I queued builds and shuffled tiles, but I don't want to ruin the war effort by shuffling a unit out of place, so I left things until you could take a look later. Sorry! I'll try to make sure I get my head in once a day again so this doesn't happen again.
