I received the save without any problems. The first turn will take some time, because, like Ellimist, I need to make some important strategic decisions. The next turns will definetely be faster, no need to worry.

Save played and sent to Bob.

Just a quick thing. I already met Sareln in game. Since we are on a small map, I believe it could happen, but I want to make sure it's no mistake like the one which happened in FFH PBEM I.

It probably is a mistake; I moved around units several times and forgot to go back at the end and make sure no one had contact. Since the known tech bonus is so small, probably the best solution is to just not talk until one of you sees the other's units or border.

Alternately, if you'd rather, I can fix that and start you over, but then you lose 2 days of progress.

I don't care about the early contact.

Sadly, it's going to be my turn to hold the save. I got a Blue Screen of Death a couple hours ago, and my computer is suffering from some sort of serious issue. I've lost access to G-Chat, Firefox & Chrome, and I can't download any attachments from Internet Explorer at the moment. Thought it was a virus, but from what little research I've been able to do it looks instead like my hardrive is simply dying. Which isn't great.

I'm going to try to take it to some campus tech people tomorrow. I can download the save from a university computer & pass it on to my laptop via tumbdrive if I have to, but that won't be happening for a while. Sorry frown

We can use the time to fix the early contact problem. It is not a big deal, but seeing graphs and the known tech bonus could be avoided. What do you guys think?

Sounds good.

That's fine.

I'll take the opportunity to fix another oversight of mine, too, then. The only catch is...the only way I know to do this is to fix the original worldbuilder file and then send turn 0 to Bob again (edit: or a sub; I could even just duplicate Bob's turn 0 moves and then send it to Ellimist, come to think of it). I can do that, if you're on board for it, just want to make sure.

If we need to wait for Bob to play turn 1, we can wait for him to replay turn 0.
