With no possible techs researched or anything really happening on the foe-front, there's not much to say this time around!

GNP proves each of my opponents who completed a Worker are working on a tech with prereqs on it, bumping their GNP to 18. This means they are researching...

...I think it's pretty obvious both are going to Bronze.

With that, nothing to do. Warrior is already qeued to go reveal those last coastal fog tiles before returning to the capital for Galley boarding or garrison happy.

So lemme fill out this report with some questions instead, after I've sent the Save away.

1. Has anyone here read Homestuck? I'm most wondering because I want to know if anyone is getting my naming schema :P Plus the fact I am kind of legitimately interested in how many fans of it we have here on RB.

2. Would anyone want to see me LiveStream a turn? I'm not sure which, but it'd be later. T50 or some micro heavy turn seems like it'd be a good option, or maybe a turn with a lot of C&D work. IDK if I'll do it either way and I wouldn't delay the save to do so, but I do wonder if anyone is interesting.

There is not a single change to the demographs, nor anything to do, nor anything revelaed on the map, nor even a single move to make! Boring turn.

I decided on a naming scheme for early military units and Workers. Any guesses on what it's from?

Another turn in. Demographics exactly the same as last time. Expansive civs are building a second Worker or theirs still hasn't completed? Weird.

Aside from that, literally nothing happened. Worker will complete when I end turn, Warrior moves to unfog last tiles next turn.

Game actually might have something to report now.

First things first, I rename my Worker.



Too bad there isn't any female Worker...



The Warrior does NOT reveal a second seafood, rendering Karkat forever a filler city. So much of a filler, I might give another city the Karkat dot later and make this like...Spidermom or something.

The move also made me realize something: That's the bottom of the map!

Therefor, I propose the following map hypothesis:

Everybody on the map starts on the bottom or top, an equal distanve from each other, in one of the four diagonals, an equal distance from the one to your left/right. They all either start with an island next to them to colonize + another island in the middle for strife OR one BIG island that everyone will have access too from the coast of their capital.



Demos...no change. Obviously if we have our Worker, so do the EXP civs. So Ellimoogle and Noblewwyn are both building a second Worker as well.



I dunno if it showed up on the screen, but I forgot Farms take 5 turns, not 4. Since the second Worker would have 6 hammers extra anyway, the Worker is not delayed. The only change should be that the grassland hill gets no pre-build turns, which since I won't work it a lot if ever before the Workers would need that 1 turn is absolutely no deal.

Yeah pretty much all there is to do is send Ari back to Erodan.

But given some facts, it's pretty easy to determine.



As you can see, Jkioan has discovered a technology. It's very easy to tell which they got, because...



Buddhism was founded! So clearly, Jkioan got Meditation(Also Polytheism would of taken longer).



As you can see, someone's GNP is up to 22. Since it would make no sense for Ellimoogle or NobleLewwyn to switch research before BW(Which we know they're researching) AND Jkioan just got a tech, so we can assume he did one of two things:

Switched to a 1-2 commerce tile and is working a Prereq
Is working a tech with 2 prereqs

Jkioan therefor is researching one of:
Polytheism
Priesthood
Masonry
Animal Husbandry
Sailing
Archery

We can cut off the bottom three of those. In addition, none are double prereqs, so he has to be working a 1/2-commerce tile. Logical choice would be the coastal fish, which fits with the food production of 7(2 base + 3 Corn + 2 Fish).

My question is...what is up with this opening? It's very slow. SLow build a Work Boat. Delay Worker. Religion chasing maybe even.

I have no idea exactly what he is teching, to be honest. Polytheism for double religion or Priesthood for Oracle or I guess maybe Masonry for one of it's wonders or...Sailing for a Lighthouse? Where is he expecting his food to come from? By the time he gets Agriculture, we'll have 2 Workers and a city!

I presume both Ellimoogle and Noble will play an opening like mine, except 1-2 turns faster due to being EXP.

Aside from that, not much to do. I've determined the best time to revolt to Slavery will be the turn we produce the Settler, since we won't need to whip for 4T after that, but by doing it while the Settler is en route we don't lose anything on it.
