IMO the message should include the info:

1. That we met a TEAM's scout, but we think they have arrived from afar. (Gillette already knows that we met somebody by the EP's distribution.)

2. That we are not ready to share the information about wonders.

3. Apologize to them that we did not responded for so long. Tell them, that it's a vacation time and our diplo team is off, or something ....

We just met TEAM last turn as well. Unfortunately, they rather underhandedly killed our scout without so much as a hello message. We thought you should know to be cautious around them. They are not to be trusted, and you'd be wise to protect your farm animals very closely . Hope this helps!

We're disappointed in your lack of interest in wonder coordination, though we do understand to an extent. We're primarily interested in avoiding wonder races with you rather than trying to steal wonders you plan, but we certainly understand the caution.

Wow, can't believe TEAM killed Gillette's scout like that. I wouldn't really have expected that, this early in the game.
