[SPOILERS] OMFG! There's a Succubus in my Bathhouse! Thoth plays with Tebryn

*sigh* The Griffon is being dull. frown

I've decided to spend a 0 xp and get a bit of scouting done to the south. I'm aiming for Hunting after bronze (I'll have Furs in my borders t80 or 81 long before I get there). Furs are the only happy source I've found other than the capitals Wines (Incense doesn't count).

Expansion should be on schedule, but I may lose a warrior in the process (more if both bear and Warrior stack on the city tile)

Up north, I'm very close to unlocking FotT:

Blind dotmap FAIL!:

I won my coinflip vs the barb warrior and then went ahead and roaded the city tile with both workers and founded Maple Syrup as planned. Except for the whole "move the scout onto the hills to look first" bit of the plan.

OTOH, the Bear sitting on the optimal city tile would have made things a bit interesting if I'd wanted to plant there, so we'll go with "I settled there due to expediency" rather than "I settled there because I played too fast". nod

So the Wolf is player owned, and I think the Griffon is Serdoa's.

If the Wolf moves to the FPH to the NW of it's present location I'll kill it with the local scout next turn.

I'm aiming for CoL eot 80 and revolt t81.

Borders in Road Hockey (1st pop) and Screech (2nd pop) happen eot 80 as does growth to size 2 in Maple Syrup. I'll finish the Brewery eot 83.

(note the +7 gpt at max tax....I've got 3 Markets wink

But dang, those Food and Mfg numbers look sexy (DaveV has at least one GM completed....)

That's why you're obliged to slam everyone else's faces in to demonstrate your superiority over lurker scum.

I need an economy before I can go head-bonking.

If I hadn't built Markets I'd be loosing ~3 gpt at max gold.

Aristocracy + some Cottages will fix economy for the moment, but I need more happy room in my cities as well.

well, double checking and I *think* I'm still a dedlurker for this thread ...

if I saw anything else it would have been months ago, but luckily I don't remember any of it.

Its definitely nice that you are leading in Food and MfG.

I can only assume that you will be going for adepts after CoL is in?

On Cities: I think City8 should be 2 tiles west (between pigs and cows) and City9 1 tile north.

To maximize the immediate food available that is smile

I'm pretty sure there is a direct correlation between the number of Pyre Zombies you build and lurker comments. Seems grumbling has an effect too. wink

eh, skeleton mages ftw tongue

Pyre Zombies are for the AI to use ^_^

( actually, I've had good success with about a 5:1 ratio of skeleton mages to pyre zombies ... the PZs can come in handy if you don't waste 'too' much resources into em wink )

CoL is finally in. Revolt to Aritocracy/Nationhood/Apprenticeship on t81.

I'll be hitting up Bronze Working next both for Bronze and for Pyre Zombies. Then Hunting for the Fur resource, then Kote/HBR/Fishing/Masonry/Construction/Warfare in some order. I need Construction for Bridge building, my road crosses river at two key spots.

Things are looking possibly entertaining on the Griffon front:

The Northern Griffon is the one that has been scouting out my borders. Given the direction it came from, I'm about 70% certain it's Serdoa's.

The Southern Griffon is C1 and disappeared from my view ~10-15 turns ago near Ichabod's borders. It might still be barb, but I'm betting it's Ichabod's.

Just in case they are both Icabod's, I've got 3 units covering my worker pair. wink
