Is that character a variant? (I just love getting asked that in channel.) - Charis

[SPOILERS] Laconic plakonic

I think I'll invest 1 turn on warrior next turn to be a bit more on the safe side. After investing 1T on it I can then finish it in 3T at size 2 and after T26 in 2T after growing to size 3. It will naturally delay WB, but better to be a safe than sorry.

There is ocean SW and NW so I'm unlikely to get surprised from there. However Serdoa's scout disappeared to north so there is probably more land there. Naturally he might have turned the scout around to travel near the costline north where I've had quite limited visibility lately.

Well, at least this means you probably won't have to race to claim land in the west. Hopefully you'll find better land to your north.

You'll have a solid core. City 1 for the corn, City 2 for the Wheat, City 3 for the Cow+Irrigated Grassland. Maybe can split off the Fish for City 4 to the south. Few rivers. Only a desert gold for happiness. Bleh, yeah, this land sucks.

Trying to be a bit dramatic here to spice up the boring exploration phase wink.

My core areas are definately ok. As Speaker listed there will be 2nd city utilsing Corn and 3rd towards gold/wheat and city near plains cows will be useful. Also there is quite a bit of land not visible yet. It is just the middle area between us and Serdoa that seems pretty weak and they have advantage on getting all the food in the area (Cow and Sheep). This leaves me main options to give up the middle line to them or make a pink dot that tries to get me both Sheep and Cow. Even little food in my side of the border area would help me establishing a fairer and therefore more peaceful border. So I'm a bit disappointed that I haven't find anything from the southern coast.

Clams near gold and marble. This is god news making a city near marble feasible or optionally move gold+wheat city collect also clams. Latter is probably too far to settle as 3rd city, but something to think about.

WillianLP seems to be up to a strong start. They finished another tech after popping from the huts and also have religion. Manually researched techs are probably Mining+Fishing+Meditation. There are several alternatives concerning the popped tech, but it seems like it wasn't in the cheapest one category.

North seems pretty good and is probably all mine. Serdoa finished a tech that almost certainly was with 20% prerequisite bonus. He got 2000 soldier points. AH and Sailing are the most likely techs.

Island/another continent in the north. GLH would definately be worth it, but requires early investements for Sailing and Masonry + naturally the hammers.

Scout moved to forest S-SW. Nothing signifcant came out so I didn't take screenshot. I decided to use 3 more turns to grow to 4 and build warrior meanwhile before settler. I'll have improved tile for all those citizens so that should be quite ok. Wheel was also finished and I started Bronze working. If Serdoa did go for AH and did find horses close by it is good idea to have access to Holkans and finding Copper is pretty important too.

Getting fishies online makes me look decent. Serdoa's capital is already size 4. Our starts are probably pretty close to each other. They haven't built warriors, so WB has probably been built the same way as I did. I doubt they would be building Stonehenge. Plains hill start has given them 2-3T faster start.
