I just logged in. dcodea did not unpause the game after Borsche... perhaps because he didn't know how to?
Anyway, I'm 100% fine with allowing pauses, but the total silence (+ lack of password in thread) is really quite irritating.
Personally, I would unpause now and, if this happens again next turn, look for a partner/replacement.

I have unpaused.
dcodea and Borsche: if this happens again we'll need to get a replacement or sub for you. We just can't have the game at a standstill for nearly 72 hours without any word or forewarning, especially at this early stage.

That's correct, I logged in and couldn't play. I didn't know I could unpause the game, only saw "paused by borsche." As I said before, this is my first MP game. However, we're coming up on that trip I said I would have to take where I'll miss ten days, so perhaps it is best to replace me.

If you have a dedlurker and they have your password, you should be set for your trip.
To pause/unpause, hit the Pause|Break key.

I don't think you need a replacement, rather, there needs to be communication if you can't play for whatever reason. Or if you know you can't play for an extended period, find someone to cover your turn. We strive for a turn a day. If you don't think you can commit to that sort of schedule, then maybe you can think about bringing on a partner/ded-lurker or then broach the replacement idea.
TBS did volunteer to help you out while you are gone, so I don't think that's an impediment either.
