The BW plan is
Worker to T13
T13-14-15-16 worker mines grass hill, we can either grow and build warrior (working 3/0/1 rice) or just build the 2nd worker right away.
T17 move 1N and chop -
My thought was that we grow to size 2 and then whip the 2nd worker, overflowing into warrior, but it might make more sense to just build the worker right away and let it finish on T19 when the chop comes in - available for work on T20. Agriculture would be on around T27.

That's a pretty slow grow to size 2 without any food resource improved.

Hi guys, I can't decide what's best between BW and agriculture, so I'm afraid I'm not the casting vote you are looking for. Intuitively I would go for agriculture first, but without a simulation I can't say that that is correct.
BTW now that I have a "real" job I can't log in throughout the day or make posts like I could on the demogame.

Hmm.. Well one way to look at it is that a 5/0/1 rice only gains you 1 food-hammer per turn over a 3 hammer tile, due to our expansive bonus.
I see 3 options
1) Ag first - rice is farmed T18 and we grow on T20. BW not till T27
2) Worker->Worker - 2nd worker is chopped out on T20, we grow to size 2 on T28 - Ag done on T27 and we can finish the farm by T29 with both workers.
3) Worker->grow to size 2->Worker (possibly whipped). We grow to size 2 on T21
I favor option 2)

I also favor something close to option 2. I'm not currently in position to even count turns, but I like:
*Worker
*Worker
*Scout
*Archer
*Settler
In cap. Since we'll probably be tech limited while waiting for hunting then I can see working on Henge after the 2nd worker completes. I don't see the need to slave anything before the settler - I thought I've read that slaving a 1/3/0 grass hill is inefficient anyways, and surely it is if we're gaining a free hammer on a worker due to the Exp bonus.
So for tech that's BW -> Hunting -> Archery -> AH if we don't want to ever be waiting to build something. Otherwise BW -> Hunting -> AH -> Archery, working on Henge after we get the scout out. I know this is slow growing to 2, but chopping early still seems faster to me get to 2 cities and a wonder than growing and slaving.

That is true, here is the post I made in our first PB game for reference. Sometimes you do it anyway to get something fast.

Yeah, but chopping is the ultimate way to get something fast, right? As Speaker pointed out - we've got 9 forests to chop, and a 3hammer tile to work. I wouldn't be surprised if another team could micro their civ to make nearly as many beakers or food as us during the first 50 turns. I guarantee though that they can't match us for production. I'm just not sure if chopping out a 2nd worker, scout, archer, settler, and henge is the best use of those hammers...but I'm inclined to think so.

It sounds like we at least want to swap to BW this turn, right?
If so - sunrise can you take care of that?
