My cities:
The capital is workingt the copper, sheep, and three grassland river cottages. Marble city is working the corn, unirrigated rice, grass forest firs, and grass river cottage. Front city is working pigs, horse, and four grass river cottages. Silver city is working only the silver while the two food resources are improved. Wheat city is working the wheat, grass river cottage, and two unimproved floodplains. Only two tiles total unimproved.
The three spots with slightly different color borders will probably be planted once Lit is in and I can build research in my other cities. The only remaining core spots after that are a slow-growth city in the southeast to grab that copper, and risky cities towards Krill, the northern one getting pigs. If I settle either of those cities (city elim is off, and I am Imp, so it isn't terrible to loose cities) I'd probably build only a walls+granary so the hammer cost of loosing the city isn't too terrible. I'd need to calculate the total number of turns of wealth production the city would need to return to pay off the settler.
Speaking of city builds, every city has a terrace, and every city either has a barracks or has one under construction. The only other building is a library in the cap. Since I'm Phi I may want to consider running Scientists everywhere, but for now I'm holding off. Instead I plan to make the Parthenon in my cap, units in my front two cities until Lit comes in, slow build the barracks in Silver city, and in wheat+floodplains....maybe a library and scientists there, need to decide soon.
Also, I checked the victory conditions, which are not broken. I'm top land, by like 1 tile over Krill.
_____
I plan to make both Parthenon and Nat Epic in my cap, alongside GLibrary. I'm actually hoping for two GArtists, and one potential bomb spot (assuming Krill keeps his second ring) looks like this:
This isn't the world's best bomb (and oh how I wish Krill hadn't beaten me to the pigs+copper city by 1t) but it does provide some good protection against units coming in along the edges. Another bomb target is the horse, rice, and cow city on the other front. Considering map spacing though, the REAL bolb bomb is something like this:
You can see the Banana which matches up with the previous pic. I could plant even further north, but I'd rather not send darrell into vendetta mode.
Solo bomb cities like this are strong because not only can you not sneak up on them, but there is only one target. Bombing the Krill front doesn't automatically protect the marble city, but bombing darrell and then settling a city for the dyes pretty much makes darrell kill my hill+60% culture bomb city if he wants the territory back.
