[NO PLAYERS] Lurking and Mapmaking PB52

I'm glad to see pindicator talking himself out of going all-in on Superdeath. It's not worth it. There's land out there to be settled, and he's nowhere near maxed out his existing land. Just focus on your economy and expansion and hold SD off.

Jowy has an easy river city he could plant right in the middle of his lands next to the gems on the river that could work a bunch of cottages. not a lot of food, but it is commerce...

The eastern group of players have been locked in a weird stalemate because nobody trusts anyone. Practically, Charriu should obviously be eating Mjmd, and Jowy should be attacking AT. None of this has been happening though, because all of these players are afraid of their other front, so they've all kinda slowly drifted further behind the lead. Now it looks like pindicator's mini border skirmish with Mjmd has a decent chance of kicking off a cascade.

To be fair, reading all their threads...none of them should trust each other.

Mr. Cairo is looking better and better just because nobody is against him and everyone wants him on-side.

I'm not the right observer, because I've thought that the Pindi could always take his border city back from Superdeath, but surely, now he can, right? After two cats go into the small stack on the forest tile, he gets odds on everything in it, and has another, what, 9 catapults to bombard the city defenses down to +14%? The turn after that, he goes in with 9 catapults and 29 hitters (if his hitters win their fights against the small stack and he moves up with his 3 capital spears) against 24 defenders in the city. If Superdeath survives that round, Pindi still presumably has numbers on him plus he's got a straggler catapult that can hit again. Time to pull the trigger, mate. hammer

I've never seen a trio of neighbors make so much talk about attacking each other with so little blood to show for it.

I think this does not warrant reload as it's not mechanical issue ( misclick etc ) and I would not go down path where we grant reloads lightly. Especially as he can just declare war vs Pindi to break the deal and get elephants back.

Except that they just signed 10T enforced peace so the deal can’t be broken by declaring war. But I agree this doesn’t warrant reload.

I agree. It's a game/strategic mistake which is pretty different from "my hand slipped" or whatever. He definitely intended to make that trade, and making it was a game mistake. I'll comment on it.

Looks like the tangle in the east of the map could get resolved, but I am not sure Jowy and AT combined are enough to decisively run over Charriu. If MJMD can join in, then it's really over for Charriu. If Cairo turns east over south/west that could really complicate things.

AT's 17 unit stack still seems like small peanuts compared to pindicator vs. SD, and I don't see catapult reinforcements coming. Without another 4-5 catapults, AT will likely only be able to capture 1 city, maybe the judaism holy city but it really seems like Charriu will be able to defend that.
