Please play on. This is not a basis for a reload.

As plako said, I really don't see how Orgy or us have grounds for a reload. There was no double move, no terrible mislick that deleted a million units and nobody lost a turn. Orgy violated an agreement made out of game, it doesn't matter if they did it intentionally or not. Let's just raze the city: we lose a couple trade routes, but gain a weakened eastern neighbor who was already behind on expansion. Seems like the whole thing works out ok for us.

Oxy/Plako please bear with me - I accept that I am to follow the direction of the admin.
*This is the equivalent of a misclick that will a) cost us trade routes and b) cost Arki a settler - at least comparable to losing a turn.
*It is not the result of player error, it is the result of Arki's well intentioned effort to fill in for LP. Compare to the hypothetical situation where Orgynized loses a turn because LP disappears/fails to play and Arki is called to sub.
I don't want an eastern neighbour weakened because of stuff that has nothing to do with the game. It makes the game unfun for Arki and unfun for me. I'm pressing the point because it's so easily fixed with a single turn's reload.
Venting out of the way: Oxy, I'm sorry to put you on the spot, but I need to you to coordinate the diplo with Arki if we're going to burn his city.

Are you against burning the city if the reload isn't approved? We should be in agreement on this. Let Arki request a reload, and once Plako has made a final decision we can move from there. If its a matter of time, of course I can start doing more diplo/turn playing.

We have to burn the city, which is why I was upset - it completely mucks things up for us.
And for Arki once we burn it. It's just stupid and pointless.
Arki has already approved the reload request in the e-mail you quote above. I'll make the post in the tech thread, I anticipate Plako will refuse the reload, and then we have to hash things out with Org.
Whatever, I have access to a terminal off and on for the next 10h. I'll write some e-mails.

Arkipeller,
I pushed Plako hard for a reload, even though he indicated early on in our thread that he was unlikely to grant one. I explained that it was unfair to consequence you for LP abandoning your team. That it was an honest mistake easily solved by a single turn's reload. You can see the outcome in the tech thread. I'm a bit disappointed in Asterix and the Carebears for making it so difficult. As you have suggested, we would prefer a diplomatic solution to wasting resources in a duel. We understand that the city plant was not intentional and are open to a fair solution, but we will need to resolve the situation as soon as possible. Can we trade you a settler for the offending city? Burn it outright? We are open to suggestions and happy to extend our NAP if that gives you the security to negotiate with us in good faith.

Chatting with KGB - didn't even notice while I was in-game, but Carebears popped a GE and built the Pyramids, presumably out of the Oracle city. Which explains their opposition to the reload, a chance the RNG nets them a prophet instead.

Plako is considering if the rules permit us to trade for a city.

Arki,
Plako has ruled, to keep things simple, that it is best if the "No City Gifting" rule is interpreted in the most general sense - no city trading at all. We cannot trade for the city. I understand that it is difficult to find the time to do diplo when you're running a civ all by yourself - please let us know how we can help. Would chat be more convenient?
In order for us to avoid this sort of situation in the future, I hope that we can come to an agreement as soon as possible so that both our civs can return to peaceful expansion. We are asking your permission to raze the offending city. In return we are offering an NAP of whatever length you like - we have already offered a t180NAP. Declaring war will kill our trade routes, but we offer you Open Borders for the length of our NAP - our trade routes will slowly repair over time.
I noticed your warrior near our borders to the southeast. Is there any scouting information that we can share?
Please reply as soon as possible, we hope to resolve this issue in the next few turns.
Regards,
Suttree
