I've updated assets with only one change - Elven work rate goes to -10%. The rest is the same as described here. However, the attachment issues are striking again and I can't add it to this post, so I've hosted it. - If you don't have a copy of Erebus in the Balance v12 installed already, follow the instructions here first.
- Otherwise, you can find the updated XML here. Just paste this over your XML file, in BTS/Mods/Erebus in the Balance v12/Assets.
Could a lurker roll 3 leader/civs (with no repeats) each and randomise who they are offered to? I assume we're doing two rounds of throwing back (full combos only, not just leader/civ)?

A couple of players had questions about the map settings in their threads, so I'll repost some of the settings that have been somewhat buried in this thread:
Speed: Quick
Difficulty: Emperor
No Tech Trading
No Vassal States
No Goody Huts, but note that Graveyards, Dungeons, and Lairs are on, as are Unique Features, which might include one or more of the Epic Dungeons.
Blessings of Amathaon (which means the map has lots of resources on it)
Wildlands (which results in lots of barb animals spawning)
Living World (which doubles the number of Random Event that occur)
No Acheron
No Orthus
Someone also asked about the map dimensions - I haven't posted them yet, but if you want, I'll do so when everyone's finished their picks.

Okay, everyone's made their picks, and it looks like we have an order, so I'll start by rolling 1d10 and consulting the play order list I made above: I got a 7, so the fourth on my list, which turns out to be coldrain, meaning the order and civs will look like this:
coldrain, playing Thessa of the Ljosalfar
Miguelito, playing Valledia the Even of the Amurites
BING_XI_LAO, playing Sandalphon of the Sidar
Qgqqqqq, playing Rhoanna of the Hippus
Aurorarcher, playing Garrim Gyr of the Luchuirp
The full set of rolls were these:
I'll try to get the game set up with all the right civs, units, and techs, and then e-mail the starting save to coldrain tonight (I'm OrionCiv at the same domain as everybody else). In the meantime, in hopes of making sure I get this part right:

So it looks like the mod will be called "Erebus in the Balance v12" if installed in the right spot ( not v12.1 or anything like that)? If I've got that right, I'll go ahead and use that!

My apologies - I just noticed I made a mistake in the save file actually: I somehow managed to swap Bing and Q in play order! I've created a new WB file with this fixed, checked to make sure civs, leaders, techs, units, visibility, location, and so on were all swapped back correctly, and can send out a new save shortly. Apologies again for the mistake!

No worries!
Played the new initial save and sent to Miguelito. Before playing the new save, I deleted the previous one in the PBEM save folder to avoid sending the wrong one.
