How many cities you think you will get upto? Anymore wonders on the menu?
"Superdeath seems to have acquired a rep for aggression somehow. About a dozen with the land we’ve explored so far, possibly we might find more islands to settle. And yeah, probably some more wonders; exactly which depends on what GPs we get.

Was hoping this 3rd scientist would be a 60% engineer for the MoM, but it still looks pretty.

Hows everything looking? America still broken? Any update? Would love to know more about your various plans/how you play as its quite a marvel.

Short update on my way to work is that everything looks good. We have very active discord where stuff is sorted out and I assume no one has energy/time to update here. We lib demo in 2t and start GA from taj at the same time to swap civics to get hammers from specs. Then we bulb our way to cannons and frigates. While we do that we draft and build units for attack.

This plan has been active for a long time. After we noticed that we are between Nauf and M, which means they can easily dogpile us, we discussed for a long time what tech advantage would allow us to beat that. Discarded early knights rush and astro as the first one is posdible to repell by enough wellies and cats, while the second is great for cripling civ but not really for making gains. We also thought there's not much astro land at that time.

We leaned heavily on specs and did the "standard" America trick of library to forge to Mids. Then we got little lucky by others being slowed by wars and managed to grab also MoM (and the great library that we were supposed to land ).

War against M was minir settback, but we did not really care about it that much. Lost settler and some hammers, but not big deal.

Possible to link the discord? Would be easier to just read whatever is there (unless its all voice?)

Back on page 1-2 TBS was inviting people to the discord, you could always PM him if he doesn’t see this.

I did intend on posting some updates here, but with already reporting in discord, and the good game pace, haven't managed to do so. I can at least give you some pictures:

In addition to the general brokenness of Pericles America, the AP was also amazing in our spot too. Just 30h monasteries from Phi make it a great deal, and then we were constrained by both happy cap and spec slots at the time, so even the temples got good value too. It's probably another wonder, like MoM, that I wasn't really expecting to get, but with us and nauf being the only two with no early wars there was no competition.

Since we are working a priest in literally every city, the Angkor Wat becomes a very nice wonder to add to our collection.

My only regret is losing ToA to a coinflip to Gira, some ~40ish turns after discovering Aesthetics.

Generally civs with more land like M or xist catch up with civs like ours when we run out of good things to invest our resources into, but that never really happened to us, since we were winning all the first-to boni. We pretty much always had either really good infra to build or an urgent need for military units. As illustrated by how long it took me to fit ToA in, and National Epic was also delayed some 30-40t despite having TGL and a bunch of wonders built.

Our first MoM golden age was used to get into Mercantilism.

Our second was used to get our defenses set up against a potential dogpile.

The Taj golden age would be used to Liberate democracy for the massive hammer boost of Emancipation and then bulb our way to Steel to put those hammers to good use.

In total we have generated 13 GPs so far.
The first built the Pyramids.
The next 4 scientists went in the capital - Academy and 3 settled.
The next 2 scientists went for golden ages(with the Music artist)
The next 4 scientists bulbed Edu, Printing Press, Astro & Chem
Finally it was impossible to roll 11 scientists in a row , so we got another engineer to build half of the Statue of Liberty for us. (and our capital is a hammer monster to finish it, in addition to a beaker one, due to Emancipation and all the free specs).
We just rolled an artist which we will probably save for a final GA.

This is what one fish will buy you these days when you put all these boosts together:

As for the future, we've been reading the works of an old general, maybe not as well known these days, goes by the name HidingKneel ...

thanks for posting and... wow!
Looks like you're playing some sp-showcase.

How did the settled scientists compare to using them on bulbs?
