Lots of barb animal spawns, or the default normal amount? Increasing the number might be a good idea, since barb animals are finite in number after a few dozen turns, and having more capture opportunities per player might be more fair/fun. The downside of course is you also end up with lots of spiders and bears eating your dudes.

Raging barbs just gets in the way IMO. If you can increase the animals only though, that would be neat. What's living world?

Living world doubles the frequency of random events. Wildlands is the option that doubles the number of animals.

If we want just more animals we can choose Wildlands? Wildlands doubles the amount of animals that spawn.

Keep hell terrain on imo, it could result in some interesting diplomacy. Living world is fine. Raging barbarians delay contact with other civs too much, I think. No strong opinion on animal spawns either way.
