I guess I need some sort of official ruling on what to do now, from what I can see we never decided on any sort of overseer for this.

Without going into details, its something that looks a little buggy to me, but could well be just a game occurance I am not familiar with, in which case I suck it up and keep on playing. Need somebody to make that call though really.

It's really hard to make any sort of call without details. Maybe some of the lurkers could give us their opinions, or you could ask those of us with official, in-game contact?

I am not looking for a decision on the issue from the players, just agreement to nomitate a FFH vet (Bobchillingworth? DaveV?) to try to bully into being the judge in this matter.

Would then get him to take a look and make a call

That approach seems reasonable to me. Since it's a question of bug or not, DaveV's probably one of the best suited around here to know what should be happening. I'd be ok with a committee as well if we can round up enough willing lurkers.

The connected question, unfortunately, is whether we have any idea how to fix a problem if it turns out to be a bug.

Your best bet might be Maksim. As the mapmaker, he should have the admin password. I don't even know whether he can open the game in worldbuilder mode with that password, but that would be the easy way to get a quick answer. Second best would be a worldbuilder save.

I'm also posting some suggestions in Jkaen's thread that could avoid the need for outside interference.
