I live! At least, the lizard hasn't attacked me yet. Go away lizard. Please. Pretty please.

The lizardman didn't call me out! It's heading north. And a skeleton suicided against my 25% fortified warrior (I took zero hits, grabbed 1xp, I'm going to leave him fortified in there).
Gaspar just reminded me that I haven't responded to him yet.
Hi Gaspar,
Thanks for reminding me that I'm not playing a CTON. I had a big reply posted in my thread awaiting Selrahc's signing it off, but I got sidetracked and completely forgot about it. He did advise me that it's a bit early to make any land deals, my scout got eaten by a giant spider while I was attempting to defog the area between our capitals. I don't have much land to my east, what little coast I can see makes it look like I'm on the SE edge of a big disc.
Also, that Lizardcop picked up C2 from Cheech, and the picked up C3 from my warrior (after I deliberately moved him onto a forest hill ). Part of the reason why I wasn't particularly responsive was because I had a C3 Lizard and 2 skeletons inside my borders with a single warrior in my capital. I didn't really feel like I was long for this world. But for some weird reason, it moved away, so just letting you know there's a C3 Lizard in the jungle between our capitals D:
Take care,
Nicolae
Should I warn him about the Lizardman? He did bring it up earlier, it was the one that ate his scout and my warrior. Then again, it's not My Problem anymore.

Message sent because I was sitting on the email for too long. Removed the bit about a single warrior, that's a sign of weakness.

Motherf...
Stupid lizard turned around and is threatening my wines again. Still can't improve it . Anything I should do? Should I pump out 2 more warriors by working max hammers and covering my cap and improvement with 2 units so I can at least improve them?

You want enough that you feel safe and can cover your worker when you venture back into the field. At least that's my opinion.

So, 4 warriors then. 2 for capital, 2 for worker. That sucks. I'd rather they just suicide on my city or something.

Yes, build extra warriors. If the warriors don't get killed, they'll work as settler guards in the near future so it's not a truly bad build from an economic perspective anyway.

Definitely, yeah. I think a city to the NW would be quickest to develop, but there lies lizards, I'll clearly need more warriors to deal with them. Probably build a 2nd worker and use him to road to the putative city site.

Lizardman died! Perfect victory, took zero hits from my +25% fortify warrior! Just to demonstrate how bad my odds were, I picked up 4xp from it.
Skeleton still won't leave. If it doesn't suicide itself next turn, I'm hitting it with a pair of warriors to clear the choke and free my worker up. But yeah, I'm dreadfully behind on scouting and growth, while I have some nice commerce resources, I have no food resources, so I'd actually vouch agriculture/calendar/exploration before BW.
Also, should I tell Gaspar about the Lizard being no longer a problem?
