I did comment on you joining but that's not the reason I suffered bloodlust.
Anyway Rowain offered the Key Lepanto for some reason before I did anything. Meanwhile I proposed an Italian-Russian Alliance with TT with the idea that we kill scooter and then rowain. Even if the Key Lepanto backstab is devastating for Austria I would much rather have Turkey get stabbed first so Russia cannot ally with it. Allowing the Russian Fleet into the Black Sea may not a stab because you are screwed anyway and the fleet can support you in. I was leaning to stabbing Austria then. Anyway I was following along with this plan until this happened:

Now I've said that I don't see the difference between personal insults and other things. This works both ways. You have to have a condescending view of someone to make such an e-mail. So it's the same thing as saying "you are stupid and illogical". This pissed me off.
TT told me earlier that he was okay with me not backstabbing Austria at once so I then chose not to attack Austria to make sure you died. I'm not losing much because Italy still gets the better of Key Lepanto when he doesn't backstab. I was taking the easy way out and making sure you died at the same time. 
If you are getting attacked by Austria, me and Russia I might as well lie to you as you wouldn't matter when you died. Austria would still get Greece in the end but it would waste time which would be good for the West and bad for us.Anyway TT came in a day and a half later flipped out at me.
He threatened to not attack you if I didn't stab Austria. I didn't see a legitimate reason for him to wait that long so I assumed he was lying and going for the Juggernaut Alliance. I really did forget about the deadline because I didn't noticed a day had past because no-one e-mailed me for a full day. 
Rowain left TRI open to attack and TT had the Black Sea. So I talked to him and he had an emotional freakout that convinced me that he wanted the Italian-Russian Alliance and that he would stab you. That happened. I also exaggerated my dislike of you using the word "grudge" to reassure TT I wouldn't stab TT until you died.
That plan didn't work as you went "nuclear" on me and didn't defend yourself from TT.
Your empty threat actually came true. I would have acted differently if I knew it was possible. However, I must point out that you probably wouldn't have done it if you planned to play other game with me... After this we weren't on speaking terms so there's not much to talk about diplomacy. There's a few minor things to go over:
1. You trying to work with Rowain and blowing a turn trying to defend yourself was a bad idea. Scooter and Rowain are much better players than me and TT. But that's not a good reason to think you can defend yourself. If you get sucker punched in this game your toast. If it wasn't for me getting greedy and confusing VEN and VIE I would be able to stab Russia or move units away so he trusts me. You would not be able to burn me down but merely make Russia steal SMY from me. If you didn't blow your turn and I made those errors you and Russia would be able to kick my ass and stop me from getting a 3rd-place survival.
2. Unless you want to give a one-turn warning that you are going to attack someone you have to lie and pretend that you are their ally in some cases. TT not being able to take a SC from me after telegraphing his stab by not pretending is a good example. That's other reason I lied to you about GRE. I suspect at higher levels everyone doubledeals because giving a turn or two warning is just too much.
3. I made that fleet in NAP squat to force you to help France dislodge it. If you attacked GRE Russia would have been able to get a destroy on the BUL fleet and perhaps not rage-quit. Russia not working with you severely hampered TT in this and many other ways.
Anyway I'm not going to play in other one of these games unless it's broadcast only or no-press. As nothing happens in the first day if your Internet goes out you effectively cannot play for a whole turn. The threat of that making all my hours of hard work pointless is not acceptable. I can work with you scooter if circumstances need it--for example in a ww game I was the only person who defended you.
I'll end by pointing out some highlights from my thread:
1. Post #112 were TT rage quits and my reaction.
2. Post #106 were I talk about Rowain saying that stabbing him was a mistake. You disagree with this as seen in your thread. I think it's likely that both of you are being biased by the effects of a possible stab on you being a mistake.
3. Post #107 were I summarize the stupidest conversation I've ever had here. It makes that ww "ryan-mjw" conversation look like a talk with Steven Hawking. I can make a transcript if you want to melt your brain Gaspar.
The worst moment was TT clumsily faking an e-mail attachment and me falling for it.
