Thanks for the post LP. Was that a compilation lifted from various locations in the stream ... or one continuous take?
I have finally decided to put down some cash and register a website. It is www.ruffhi.com. Now I remain free to move the hosting options without having to change the name of the site.

Taken from about 7:30 to 18:00 in the stream. A lot of editing to fill in long silences and cut out the less interesting stuff. But otherwise the content is mostly in chronological order, with the exception of the intro and outro. The central 20-30 second rant was one continuous uncut take as I recall.
(It bothers me a little that the audio is quieter than it should have been - first time recording off my computer so I didn't have the setup quite right. Not too bad though, and I couldn't be bothered re-cutting it after noticing.)

If Quentin Tarantino ever wants to make a movie about Civ 4, I know who to cast as the bad guy.
I'm no master people manager, but (and this may be a controversial opinion) this team really needs to find a way to channel Sullla's unmatched passion for the game and winning into the component of tactics and strategy and turn execution and not the human relations component.
Remarkably he managed to disconnect what he wrote from his mouth, somehow. But come on, this is an open diplo game, if he written some worse things including F bombs in chat, that could have been sent around to every other team in the game as a vendetta, and igniting a genuine hatred against our team is going to make a difference beyond just being in a dominant position. Does anyone really think anger and human emotional reactions doesn't play a massive role in these games?

I think scooters new rule will help with that.
more fitting for the rant thread: Parkn, that was fine work, Can you remix it to a techno background?

I'm over the issue of replaying the turn exactly. But I was amused by the karmic knight misclick. And I do get some amusement about this team's holier-than-thou indignation about being asked to replay the turn differently the second time! This is gaming and trying to win though, I guess, to pick an interpretation, spirit of the rules, and place to draw the line that favours us slightly when applicable.

Actually I had a similar idea yesterday and started messing around with a couple of drum loops for laughs. Fairly silly and plain, but if you want to hear it...
