Do you want to vote on any particular map script? Or have I missed that? I have made a note of all the settings summarised in Dantski's post.

If not then you guys are pretty close to starting the snake pick. Happy to randomise an order for you also.

Gah! I'm first on the snake pick? hmmm I pretty much agreed with all the map stuff, but was the Adaptive stuff sorted? Also the banning of the Orcs seemed to be in the cards at one point. I'd like to know about those two points before i have to pick.

Not that i'm after either of them in particuler :-p

*sigh* so does the snake pick mean i pick first AND last? So i get a certainty for nation/leader then have to wait it out? Suppose thats fair but damn some cool combinations only work specifically with both the leader and nation needed....

Yep - you get first dibs on either civ or leader and then last dibs on either civ or leader! This is the first snake pic in ffh so good luck!

Just an idea:

Maybe we don't ban the adaptive leaders, with the condition that the one who chooses one of them doesn't change its initial traits. This way, we make the traits combination of the adaptive leaders avaiable without too much imbalance.

I would actually consider it fair to allow people to pick the adaptive leaders if they pick in advance what they are going to use their adaptive trait for. So if someone picked Varn Gosam/Charismatic, they would use their first adaptive switch to go to Charismatic, and play out the rest of the game as Cha/Spi. It removes the "adaptive" part of adaptive, which is what really puts it ahead.
