I was wondering about this earlier as well. Hopefully sunrise should have some idea... would be a shame to lose someone before the game even begins.

My first pitbos and i just checked civstats and its wrote there turn limit 127.In other games in civstats is no turn limit. I just noticed and reported.

Turn limit is 999. You can check it when logged in. I guess that most of the data visible through civstats is written manually.

Btw. Sunrise, can we get civstats password.

I got a warning that I had a different version than the host, mine is 3.19, is there a new one out there? I didn't go any further for fear of causing problems, let me know what I should do.

There is no patch newer than 3.19. Usually that message means you have a changed or modded file somewhere in your install. (Or else Sunrise the host does, but then everybody else would see that message too.)

So...plow forward and hope for the best? My other option is just to re-install the whole mess, that would mean finding the original CD somewhere

It probably isn't a huge problem. We're operating under the honor system that you didn't lower the tech costs or something silly (someone more knowledgeable than me might know what info is kept on the client side of pitboss). In the past that error was due to cracks and noCD mods, but that's become less common since the game went noCD in patch whatever.

EDIT: The turn limit is 999 inputted by me when loading the game. I told Civstats that as well and I'm guessing it had some sort of max turns thing that defaulted down to a lower number. Number of turns in the game detection seems to work kind of poorly in pitboss anyways.
