FFH II PBEM V Tech Thread

Map is mostly done, but I've been waiting for the forum to go up to start a map thread as I don't want to put it in the general forum. In the meantime Ilios has kindly looked at it.

I am also planning on ded. lurking for FFH II PBEM5, though I wanted to join in unannounced later with me being inexperienced newcomer and all. I guess I can join either Sareln & Bob if no one signs up, but just for their benefit I will have to list my obvious shortcomings:

* I am casual Noble-level player and has not yet learned the basic tricks & skills common to this site yet, so at current juncture I do not expect my presence to be much of help besides being an occasional audience.

* I am also university student; my activity level will be low and my speed of learning how to play properly will be even lower.

Since I noticed that most of the dedicated lurkers on the OP have at least one PBEM experience under their belt, thought I had to make.. um.. my unique qualities clear.

Still, I am somewhat (RL comes first ) trying to be competent and be more involved in this community, so I'd be honoured if either of you consider me as an option.

Also thanks Bob! Hope this PBEM prospers just like that of the first. (Well, I'm sure you couldn't care that much for the fate that befall you but there being no pocketbeetle must be a one up. )

Tracker is ready for the game.

Either

• sending the initial save to the tracker ( assuming Uberfish does that from the address used for FFHPBEM2 )
  

or

• sending the initial save straight to Tredje, and then feeding it the usual end of turn save
  

should start it up. I hope If not I'll be at hand to give it a push and make sure it's ticking
